Rodgers is not what he used to be.

No doubt about that. Father Time stops for no athlete. But at 36 he did have a damn good year last year. 62% completion / 4,000 yards / and an impressive TD (26) to int. ratio (4). He hasn't thrown double digit picks in a season since 2010 (11). That's crazy.

I think this is funny. Rodgers for his career (starter for 12 years) has 84 int's. From 2010 to '13 Eli threw 83.

That is because Rodgers throws the ball out of bounds when he doesn’t have an easy play.

Turnovers are killer, but Rodgers is too risk averse. Sometimes you have to give your receiver an opportunity to make a play.

Damn. I have never seen anyone criticize Rodgers for his lack of int's. His best years are obviously behind him. I've enjoyed watching his career. Just like I've enjoyed watching all the great QB's going back to the early 80's not named Brady.

I think they will try.

Just don’t think they will finish.

I would expect them to try. But too many obstacles in the way to have a safe season.

It isn’t the lack of INTs I am criticizing.

It is time and again, you have a third and long play, even in neutral field position and Rodgers will elect your throw the ball away instead of giving his guy a chance downfield.

I believe he cares about his QB rating a little too much.

Overseas Elite doesn’t look that great to me. This is a whole new core. They will get beat by somebody.

That is quite the hot take from Broussard.

You think?

Never know what Kawhi might do. He is truly a wild card. If he is there, I expect him to be the most impactful player in the playoffs again.

It'll likely be him or Lebron.

Heard some guys talking on the radio just a bit ago and they were saying that the most important guy for the Lakers chances might be Kyle Kuzma.

Said that for the Lakers to win a title, they'll need him to step up and consistently be the 3rd option that they need and that he says he wants to be.

Cant disagree with that.

You know what LeBron and AD are bringing. It is all about the role players for the Lakers. Especially considering their depth is a question mark coming off the restart.

Yep, like most on here, I see the Clips as the favorite going in.

But if the Lakers can have someone step up and "stay stepped up" that could change and Kuzma seems like the most likely candidate for that...followed by Danny Green, imo.

Kuz looked like he was starting to show some signs of that when things shut down, it'll be interesting to see if he can continue this or if it set him back a bit. I guess a lot will have to do with how he's spent his time during this.

I think you're nitpicking. He's 113-60-1 as a starter in the regular season. So because he has a great TD to int. ratio you think he cares too much about QB rating. Russell Wilson's # 2 all time (101.2). His TD in int. ratio is damn good (227/68). Shouldn't the same thing be said about him?

I hope Danny Green turns into Harrison Barnes 2016 Finals version for the Pruple 'n Gold come playoff time. Hoop it up!

I think you're nitpicking. He's 113-60-1 as a starter in the regular season. His style of play is very productive.

You could make that claim.

I think the difference though is that a big part of why Wilson has that ratio is because he uses his legs to buy time for his receivers to get open a good bit more than Rodgers does.

Especially as Rodgers has gotten older, there are a lot more plays where he throws the ball away because he can't keep the play alive as long as Wilson can.

I'd expect that if Wilson is still playing at age 36, he'll probably be throwing the ball away more than he is now.

The thing about Rodgers is the Packers havent given him anything the last 5 years.
He still has enough in that arm to win a title imo

I agree.

End of the day, there's a strong case to be made for all 3 of them.

If the choice is mine...I'm taking Wilson. If I don't get a choice and I'm given either Mahomes or Rodgers...I ain't gonna be complaining. lol

Just watch him play. You will see what I mean.
