Love Mahomes, but right now, if I have to win a game, I still want Russ.

As long as Mahomes stays healthy, I don't expect to still be saying that after about another season or 2.

Based on what?

Russ has been really good. But Mahomes has 4 playoff wins and Super Bowl in 2 years. Russ has 9 playoff wins and 1 Super Bowl in 8 years. And, their offense has been centered around the run game when they have been most successful.

To win a game? It's close...I mean very close. I don't slight either way. Wilson still has more experience...Mahomes has better players around him and the better coach. Reid is a genius.

It's one game though. Obviously, you want the better chances...if you couple him with Reid along with Kelce, Hill and the dynamic weapons he has around him I would take Mahomes as well but it's splitting hairs imo.

Mahomes has more pieces around him and a better coach but lets not act like Wilson can't beat Mahomes with less. He did it in 2018 in a primetime game against an 11-3 Chiefs team.

Yep. Experience is why I take Russ for that 1 game. Russ is 31, Mahomes is 24.

Assuming he stays healthy, imagine what Mahomes will be like when he has Wilson's experience.

Now Mahomes has 2 years under his belt. While Russ doesn’t have as many weapons, he unequivocally has the better defense. Remove the 2 QBs and replace them with a mediocre QB and the Seahawks would be the better team.

Mahomes...no thanks to Jackson, still needs to prove himself more than one year. Mahomes has a chance with this team to do special things...very special things.

I'm not saying I take Wilson over Mahomes but people act like in one games Mahomes is that much better. Wilson is more than capable of carrying a team and has proved that.

Jackson's exciting to watch. But never been much of a fan of running QB's. He's one big hit away from being in trouble.

Wilson has the far superior run game though. And that helps his QB efficiency a great deal.

When the run doesn’t work and he goes into drop back mode, he has had some pretty bad games.
