I think that would be too disruptive blowing up the core but if the Bucks wanted to commit suicide and deal Giannis....On a serious note I could see them tying Draymond into a deal to get the better player and give up the pick but obviously Blake ain't the one

Seems that way. But I'm going with whatever @CitySushi saysYea looking through player salaries there's not a lot of great fits with that trade. Possibly Wiggins.
Ultimately the best plan is likely using the pick and hoping it pans out to give them needed cheap depth.
Like most questions about trades hard to say without knowing the player or players for whom they are trading. But a trade should definitely be explored. So on the radio, they were talking about how the Warriors should handle their draft picks. They will have their high one from sucking so bad this year, and the one they just got from the T-Wolves.
Should they trade them for an established player who can help them right now, to maybe win a title in the next 2-3 years while the core is still not old? Or should they draft a guy who can be a star in 4-5 years so when the current group ages out they can pass the baton?
Is there anyone in this draft who can be a star in 4-5 years? Maybe Wiseman?
I honestly can't decide, so I wanted to get y'all's takes. Especially @CitySushi
And actually @WiggyRuss too, who says smart things when he's not being a biased troll.
That would limit the teams I think. Obviously a team who doesn't think they can contend wants Green and 4 more years of his deal.On a serious note I could see them tying Draymond into a deal to get the better player and give up the pick but obviously Blake ain't the one

To be honest, this is one of the few years I can recall where I don't have a clue what the Warriors are going to do. There are so many weird factors going on here that we just won't know until closer to the draft date.
Most teams drafting in the top 5, my mantra is always draft BPA. If there is a tie, you can go with fit, but overall you need to try to land a star if you're drafting that high. But the Warriors clearly want to compete with a healthy roster for a championship next year. Do you take a more NBA ready prospect of someone who's got more upside? It's a tough call.
I think if given the opportunity, because this is such a weak draft class the Warriors options should be:
1) Trade back. Not sure any team is willing to trade up, but there's plenty of good players you can get in the 10-15 range that can help right away. If you can acquire an additional asset and land a player who can contribute with some upside, that's ideal for them.
2) Draft BPA. The reason they do this is simply to just stockpile assets to trade down the road. If that BPA is Toppin, it doesn't matter that the Warriors already have Draymond and Paschall blocking his immediate path. If BPA is Lamelo, draft him too and see how the season develops.
3) The Warriors clearly have some long-game plan and will have some assets to work with to dangle in the future. It'll just be a matter of seeing who will be available. Unfortunately for other teams, but potentially lucky for the Warriors, is that some teams may need financial relief after the shutdown and loss of revenue. It might make some players who may not have originally been available previously, now available.
I think there's just too many unknowns right now. First we need to see how the rest of this season plays out in Orlando. From there you can narrow the range of options, but as of right now, EVERYTHING is still on the table.

With all the coronavirus, I really do think black lives matter, but all statues should be masked unless Russia rescinds their bounty offer. What do you think the players think? Risking their lives for money, where they have to be away from their local Saharan Dust. Trump really should release his taxes so the LGBT community can safely resume their abortions while vaping. Everyone knows Obama’s birth certificate was forged, why else would they be trying to dismiss Roger Stone’s case?
They should make a play for Melo...He could be the poor mans Durant...
They should get what they can and develop them like the Lakers did their crew. There is no rush to trade them, but short of one of them being another Lebron...wait for the opportunity to get a great playerSo on the radio, they were talking about how the Warriors should handle their draft picks. Only in your fantasiesThey should make a play for Melo...He could be the poor mans Durant...

I was thinking on a short term in the first six months and the Lakers have developed players at a slower pace that turned out greatThat isn’t true though.
Big difference between developing on a bad team vs. developing on a championship contender. Bad teams can award bigger roles to those young guys to let them develop quicker. Contenders can’t afford to do that unless they are ready to go.
