So on the radio, they were talking about how the Warriors should handle their draft picks. They will have their high one from sucking so bad this year, and the one they just got from the T-Wolves.

Should they trade them for an established player who can help them right now, to maybe win a title in the next 2-3 years while the core is still not old? Or should they draft a guy who can be a star in 4-5 years so when the current group ages out they can pass the baton?

Is there anyone in this draft who can be a star in 4-5 years? Maybe Wiseman?

I honestly can't decide, so I wanted to get y'all's takes. Especially @CitySushi

And actually @WiggyRuss too, who says smart things when he's not being a biased troll.

Well I will go ahead and give an opinion I guess. If they can get someone that can help them win now they better do it, their shelf life is not as long as some might think at this point.

A team like the Warriors should trade them for an established player....Curry is closer to the end than the start of his career.....and KT and Green aren't getting any younger....no time waiting for the kids to get experience....

I tend to lean that way too. When the opportunity is there, take it. Tomorrow can take care of itself. Not everyone has to be the Spurs/Patriots. With rings scattered over 20 years. How about a burst of 4 in 6?

Another reason I lean trade/focus on now....no true potential big stars in the draft so why plan on that? Focus on the now.

They don't need another star, but they can get someone really talented for their first and the Minny pick. Not sure how the money works though.

Anyone here know who'd be a good name to get?

Can they trade them for an established player though?

Unless they are packaging another established player with a contract like Wiggins or Dray, or unless they are dealing for another guy on a rookie type deal they can’t.

Because that established player is going to be making a lot more money than the player GS drafts.

I think they are better off using the picks, building their depth back up and going after it with the core they have. Which is pretty formidable assuming Klay comes back strong and Dray was just taking a year off in 2020.

With all the coronavirus, I really do think black lives matter, but all statues should be masked unless Russia rescinds their bounty offer. What do you think the players think? Risking their lives for money, where they have to be away from their local Saharan Dust. Trump really should release his taxes so the LGBT community can safely resume their abortions while vaping. Everyone knows Obama’s birth certificate was forged, why else would they be trying to dismiss Roger Stone’s case?

Yeah I guess I figured they couldn't fit any money in so need to draft for current needs
