Soooo...

Anyone else watch those Lebron specials on ESPN yesterday?
No.

I had zero interest.

Was it any good?

Heard something about a Piston fan suggesting the decision via Bill Simmons.

Whole new topic, thoughts on patriots signing of cam newton? Belichek wants to win without Brady something awful. Personally I hope the patriots and the Bucs end up with the 1st and 2nd draft picks.

I like it.

But, are they tweaking the offense?

Mobile isn't the first, fifth or fiftieth adjective that comes to mind when describing Brady.

So, you can't just plug Cam into what they usually do, right?

I think it is brilliant.

Not sure how healthy Cam is, but he was very clearly the best option available (even if he is playing at a fraction of what he once was).

Worst case he sucks and he is their back up. I doubt it plays out like that, but very low risk, high reward move by the Pats.

Besides, I think Belicek plans to win with running and defense this year. Expect a totally different offense catered to Cam and ball control. NE will be very much a factor in the AFC this year.

We are talking about the greatest coach of all time. Maybe in any sport. He is famous for completely changing his offensive philosophy and game plan from week to week.

He will employ an offense that fits Cam.

If anyone can it's gotta be Belichick and McDaniels

Nor should you. It's fair to weight stuff that is happening today vs stuff a guy said 50 years ago. People do evolve. Unless they are Trump.

evolve is certainly a good choice of words with Biden, he has had ample time.

I haven't been a serious NFL fan for a decade.

The Kyler Murray fever peaked my interest last year.

So, I look forward to seeing if you are right.

Who was the true catalyst for success for the Pats, Brady or Belichick?

That's gonna be a fun debate for the next few years.

The obvious answer is both were important, but on the NFL boards they debate it non-stop.

Just like in any of these debates (Jordan and Pippen, Magic and Kareem, Montana and Rice)

they are all individually great. But none would have the resume or the universal recognition of greatness they receive if they hadn’t been paired with that co-star.

I think this is what everyone can universally agree on. The two-party system is a joke and is beyond broken at this point. Back in 2016, I was really hope that an independent candidate and change everything up, unfortunately that did not come to pass. This time around, all I've heard is crickets. Unfortunately, it's a cycle that will keep repeating itself for years to come - voting on the perceived lesser of two evils.

let's not leave out the Electoral college...

First Pat McCaw. Now Jordan Bell. Stop poaching all of our guys that you say are trash, but then your team signs.

Hey, our current president wouldn't be where he is today if not for that...

you mean if not for having a constitution that mandates we be a representative republic? I love the electoral college, it makes states what they are. We should have choices in how things are in the state we choose to live in.

That's not what the electoral college does though, it doesn't affect how states govern themselves
