Week 2 - The 1-0 Philadelphia Eagles lost their top 2 WRs and Goedert in pre-game/first series of the game. A streaking down the sidelines Agholor drops a perfect in stride pass into his hands where he would have scored and given the Eagles a lead with under 2 minutes left in the game. Instead he dropped it and the Eagles lost.

Week 3 - The now 1-1 Philadelphia Ealges with an all time terrible receiving group on the field that put up an all time terrible performance throughout the game still had a chance to win the game late. On 4th and 15 From the Eagles only 45 yard line with only 49 seconds left in the game, Wentz is able to buy enough time to throw a perfect pass down the field to a leaping JJ Arcega Whiteside at the endzone who lets the ball go untouched into his chest and drop onto the ground. Two back to back late game heroics from Wentz wiped from his legacy due to his shit WRs.
Time stamped 5:44

Week 11 - The decimated by injuries 5-5 Eagles exit the bye week to play the New England Patriots. In a game that was as ugly as the WRs for both teams the Eagles still found themselves with a chance in the game thanks to Wentz at the end. Down 17-10 with 1:05 remaining in the game on 4th and 10, Wentz with rushers breaking through coming at him from all directions lofts up a perfect pass at the back of the endzone where Nelson Agholor reacts in a way that would lead you to believe he had never been thrown a football before and was completely panicked as to what to do. What he did was fail miserably to track a ball that hung int he air forever and then try to make a simple catch look as difficult as he could as he dropped it. The Eagles could have went into overtime that game instead they went to 5-6.

to be fair. Philly does have guys that catches babies out of burning windows.
So when Philly says they have to get guys off the streets. There is depth there. Not as bad as it sounds :becky:

So all of Wentz drops were in big games, but none of Daks were?
Undeniable facts are Dak had 24 passes dropped, while Wince had 19. With 5 more dropped passes I'd say odds are Dak had at least as many passes dropped in big games. Hell I'd say if Daks recievers only dropped 19 passes the team would have been 10-6

I'm not talking about drops in big games. I'm talking about drops in big late game moments. Ealges-Lions is not a big game. But the fact that the Eagles lost to a team like the Lions at home because JJ dropped a perfect pass that would have been a game winning TD on 4th down that was a big impact moment on the season and what would have been a game winning clutch TD for Wentz was wiped away 100% due to the fault of the WR being shitty.

actually looking at it right now.
Dak had 36 drops (led the league)
2. Brady 34
3. Josh Allen 31
4. Mayfield 30
5-9. Wentz, Trubisky, Fitzpatrick, Kyle Allen, Jimmy G 28
tied for 10th Goff & Dalton 27

So that would be 8 more dropped passes.
BTW in another conversation I had looked it up.
In their (Dak & wentz) losing games. Dak had 20 & Wentz had 12.

The list I'm looking at says 24 and 19. Regardless facts are nfl stat sites agree Dak had more passes dropped than Wentz

1. The Cowboys receivers dropped everything

By the end of the game, Dallas had six total drops. Some came at the most inopportune times possible. Just before halftime, Amari Cooper dropped a pass that would’ve resulted in a first down near midfield:

Michael Gallup’s drop in the final minutes of the game had a much higher degree of difficulty. But his mistake cost the Cowboys at least 35 yards in field position:

Over and over again, when there was a play to be made, Cowboys receivers couldn’t get the job done.

heres mine

it is from a Local Cowboys blogger

2019 NFL Advanced Passing | Pro-Football-Reference.com

Click on Accuracy then the drops category

(just kidding)
@Manster7588 @RememberTheKoy

Ahh Hell.
I list them for ya.
Drops
Dak 1st (36)
Wentz tied for 5th (28)

Drop % (some throw more than others)
Dak 2nd (behind Josh Allen 7.2%) 6.2%
Wentz 18th 4.7%

Bad Throws
Wentz 5th (1 of only 5 to have triple digit bad throws) 106
Dak tied for 14th 86

Bad throw %
Wentz tied 17th 17.8%
Dak 27th 14.8%

On target throws
Dak 1st 451
Wentz 5th 431

On Target %
Dak 7th 77.6%
Wentz 25th 72.3%

So can we put this whole Wentz better than Dak in 2019 thing to bed already.
It is obvious he wasnt.

LOL, they were down 17-9 at that point and he didn't drop a would be TD pass. Besides even if they did score there and score a 2 point conversion despite playing like ass all game, Miles Sanders broke what was a would be TD run but decided to slide anyway the next possession.

And that was your one go to example when you needed more than 3.

Yeah I'm the moron. I post about how no other QB was screwed with as many late game drops that would have put the Eagles in the lead or tied late game and you can only come forth with one example that wouldn't have even been a score if caught while your team was down 8 points.

How was Dak screwed worse in late games? How is that Eagles game an example of screwed worse? Down 8 points and a drop on 1st down that wouldn't have even been for a TD if it was caught.

Wentz had 2 games with potential game winning TDs dropped and a game with a game tying td dropped on 4th down.

Don't you tire of making excuses for the guy? All you do on here is soak Wentz's cork and make excuses for why things didn't go his way. Man the fuck up already. God you act like a little baby all day every day.

Wentz had the best OL in the NFL the last 3 years and by far last year. He had 3 OL ranked in the top 10 of the NFL and 4 in the top 20. No excuses when you get incredible line play like that and the greatest TE duo the world has ever seen according to some. You should be able to win with blind midgets running patterns at WR when you get that. Learn Football.

6 drops in one game vs the Eagles. Dak didn't play well, but since you like excuses I'm saying Dallas is guaranteed a win in that game if Dallas recievers hold onto those balls. A win there would have made week 17 moot, as Dallas would have wrapped up the division.

See moron, excuses work both ways.

Dak shouldn't even have been playing that game his shoulder was so bad. But he is a man and a leader unlike Wentz. But, that's Football. You put on the pads and you play no matter how hurt you are. He doesn't get a pass for playing with a shoulder that not only needed a pre-game shot, but one at halftime too because half of Dak is better than Cooper Rush. But it's Football, no excuses. Well, except for Eagles fans...

you know what I know.
Cowboys lose to the eagles by one score, while Dak isnt 100% This is life.
However also in 2019 with both QBs at 100% the Cowboys flat out destroyed the eagles!
& since drops seem to be the topic of excuses. In that game Wentz & eagles had one drop. Cowboys & Dak had 2 drops.
in the latter game which was a one score affair.
Eagles had one drop. Cowboys had 4.
In their 2 games combined Cowboys had 6 drops vs eagles 2.
These are the facts. Take them how you like.
