I'd be willing to bet they still get paid even if the games don't go on. So them using their position to voice their opinion is borderline wrong.

So if they are advocating no games they should be giving their remaining salary to other players or charity

He didn’t say it wasn’t the pilot’s fault. He said the pilot shouldn’t be held responsible. As in face consequences. At least that is how I take it.

Since those consequences would surely be a law suit against the pilot’s family, I agree. Taking everything the pilot’s family owns isn’t bringing anybody back.
