Ted Turner put the Braves on unsuspecting families TV's.....
And turned many into Braves. Turner should be arrested by a Fan Cop, and Prosecuted by a Fan DA, judged by a Fan Jury, and sentenced by a Fan Judge.

Add me to the list of "morons"

i'm remembering a qoute by a very good trainer when asked why his horse had such unparrelled success.....

the horse had a "very good owner"

The implication that could not directly be stated on TV -

The owner footed the bills and stayed out of the way and let the trainer make decisions.....

Nobody would question me being a Patriots fan. I was born in South Boston and carried my teams all over the world.

Besides a Patriots fan, I am a Carolina fan, I respect the Steelers and Seahawks organizations. I like the Dallas fans because the are good fans and good people that I could hang out with and watch a game with.

I dislike Eagles fans because you are insipid little shits that found an acorn and proclaimed yourselves worthy.....
I know a Patriot fan, who will give you the Pats record when you give him the year. This goes back to years before they won a SB.

Good for him. I don't have time for such detail.

I have gone to a lot of away games around the country.
I hate I won't be here (near Vegas) when the Patriots get to play the Raiders.....

I might get to see them @ Chargers and @ Rams this year on a 4 day trip!

Name these good coaches Snyder has hired.

Schottenheimer
Gibbs
Shannahan

Ron Rivera was certainly one of the better coaches on the market this offseason and should certainly be considered a good coach, until Snyder tarnishes his legacy as he did the 3 above.

after watching Garrett teams with talent be totally mismanaged on game days, I'll say if this team somehow makes it to the Super Bowl, it was unquestionably because of McCarthy.

It's beyond stupid to say a coach was only his QB play. If this were true, then Landry was always next year's champions without Staubach.

No doubt Jarrett squandered a lot of talent. But this team with the off season they just had including the re-instatement of Smith is even better. So it's really not the same, IMO this is a damned good team and any competent NFL head coach could get them to the SB in a weak conference. You just need to be average to have a big step up from Garret and now they have even more talent. Getting to the SB does not mean MM is a really good coach.

If you really don't think MM's recorded was padded by having one of the greatest QBs of our generation I suggest you think again.

Gibbs was way past his prime. 8691"]Schottenheimer, was overrated and stuck in for one season.
Shanahan made his name off of a few seasons in Denver, and failed more often to not until they got acrwal RB.
Nobody were beating down these guys doors when the joined Snyder.

opinions vary big time here. Sorry I can't support your opinion at all.

Sure the draft on paper looks good. It's a toss up with regards to FA when you loss a top 10 corner and your best pass rusher from a year ago, replace them with a couple of draft picks and a guy who hasn't played in 5 years. If this defense is better it will be coaching. Dallas ran the most predictable defense in football, as many have said and McCarthy hired the coaches. Any improvement there will be McCarthy decisions.

You pump up Rodgers with no regards to the many QB's who have said McCarthy is a great QB coach and helped them greatly in understanding the position. You should educate yourself before hanging you hat on the opinion of perhaps the biggest ego this game has ever seen.

I'll at least say it's to be determined with the results on the field. I've only seen here eagle & redskin fans with the opinion McCarthy isn't any good without even a season played. You seem so sure of yourself with regards to Rivera being a great coach while McCarthy doesn't belong in the league. That opinion at this time is a bias one at best, full of typical NFC east fan hate for all things Dallas. Pretty funny you think I should be the one to think again on the topic. Typical hater.

Jerrah could’ve definitely hired worse than McCarthy. The media narrative about him being some kind of “qb guru” is shot too hell by Brett Hundley. I’m not sure the skins could’ve hired a better coach for the situation they’re in.

That was Hundley's first time starting, so kinda expected going 3-6 Rodgers went 4-3 the other games that season

Not saying McCarthy my first choice, but I was completely against Rivera when his name came up as a possible HC in Dallas.

Gibbs? How far back are we going here. I'll go 3 HOFers: Landry, JJ and Parcells :suds:
