Well that 7th round QB took his team to the FCS national championship they lost to North Dakota State a team that would give any of the power 5 champs a run for their money on a neutral field. Don’t fall asleep on him he should give our current backup a battle
He can't be any worse than Clipboard Rush.

I guess he said "if needed" meaning not the plan but if an issues arises? Which makes more sense to me because I think Woods and Dix are the starters. Why move a guy to make him a backup when CB is already a weakness

McCarthy could be right. I have always thought guys like Lewis and Awuzie could play safety. Lewis is a great tackler. . That 4th round pick from TCU should be put at safety during pre season.

I watched the Oregon vs Utah game to watch Anae. Not a good game for him or Utah. Now lot of the time they ran plays up the middle and away from Anae. I will say that Oregons OL looked like an NFL line. That LT for Oregon is a stud, and honestly the rest of that line for the most part was dominating the game. Hebert could be in for a rude awakening.

Biadasz has a long ways to go before he gets to Frederick's level. Possibly he was playing hurt last year because he did not play as well as the year before. I am hoping this is the case. I see the potential though. He does have good size and length. We cant afford to go back to the days of Phil Costa who literally got Romo beat to death

Yeah, I also loved that violent finish. I want to see Wentz and the rest of the QBS on the schedule get tossed around like that. Wentz would leave the game if he got tossed like that

So you want Anae to give the other team free first downs with his penalties and get fined every week?

I love the pick of Biadasz, but I'm not sure why everyone is writing him down in ink as a year 1 starter. I think he will start eventually but I would be surprised if it is week 1 of this year and especially if we have a shortened offseason. I still think Looney is the favorite and McGovern IF they see him as a Center, but my gut still says McGovern is a Guard and may even beat out Williams for the starting LG spot.

D too think Looney is the C in 2020, but I do expect Baidasz to grab that job soon and hold it for a void while.

I hope you are right. I think William's would be better as swing tackle. He is not that good as LG.

McGovern is going to have to show me something before I consider he could beat Williams or Badass out for either position. I think Looney is at least as good at LG as Williams. The only Q in my mind is just how good is Badass. College film vs college film Badass thumps McGovern. Williams would make a decent 6th man, not excited if he is a starter.

NFL Draft: How 1-2-3 Lucky Are Cowboys? 'We're Livin' Right'

FRISCO - It was the early 1990's, and the Dallas Cowboys built by Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson had just won yet another game - though on this particular Sunday they'd played poorly and stumbled into some late-game breaks to manage a win. After the game, Jerry acknowledged their good fortune.

"Boy,'' he said, "were we lucky!''

Jimmy responded the next day by claiming he didn't "believe in luck.'' He could barely spit the word out of his mouth. As if it was a cuss word in church, he completely rejected its usage.

And so came Jerry's Tuesday media luncheon, and one more playful retort.

"Boy,'' Jerry told us with a grin, "were we serendipitous!''

Fast-forward to the first two days of this NFL Draft and consider the good fortune of the franchise owned by Jones, who admits on a regular basis that he's "the luckiest man alive.''

On Day 1, in the first round, the Cowboys entered with Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as the No. 6 player on their Big Board. They calculated that there was literally a zero-percent chance of him falling to their spot at No. 17.

But fall he did. What luck

On Day 2, in the second round, the Cowboys entered with Alabama cornerback Trevon Diggs carrying a grade so high that had Lamb not been available, Diggs would have been a consideration at 17. The Cowboys calculated that there was a one-percent chance of Diggs falling to them at their spot at 51.

But fall he did. What luck.

to beat the value at the place you draft them, relative to what’s generally considered value. That is fun.''

Remember, none of this guarantees that Lamb is really going to be the next Michael Irvin, or that Diggs is going to be the next Deion Sanders, or that Gallimore is going to be the next Randy White. It's about projections. Value. Hope. And luck.

"I'm a dreamer,'' Jones said. "What excites me is that if it can happen to you on Day 1 and 2 ... I like to think it could happen to you on Day 3. I can’t wait ... I am going to try to remember what I’ve done the last two days and keep it up (Saturday starting at 11 a.m. CT). I’m superstitious.''

Superstitious. And serendipitous.

I really think it is WE as fans are the only ones who can see this as an issue and has been for a long time.

It would be great if he could get some NFL weight room/nutrition time and heal up if he still isn't 100%

I watched some highlights. Was not that impressed. There is a pro day video out there that show him throwing some intermediate throws. His accuracy was impressive. Very impressive . His ball looks very similar to Rodgers in the way he just flicks it out. I like what I see. Really like what he did in that workout.

PFF has "badass" highly rated as a run blocker. If healed I think he starts.this draft looks better than I could have imagined.
