Maybe the Shutdown helped, it didn't allow Jerry to meet and fall in love with players.

Great thing about this draft was the value. They are getting guys that are ranked by many a half round to a full round ahead of where they were projected. Sure they will still miss on some picks, but it's easier to swallow missing on a guy considered a late 2nd with your 3rd round pick than a guy that projects as an UFA

This kid completed over 70% of his passes, was 5th in the nation in deep ball passer rating and only threw 6 picks. Sounds good to me...Tony Romo was undrafted...just saying
