Not a knock on Lebron at all. This is more of a knock on the Cavs as an organization if anything. Lebron also came to the Cavs when the salary cap worked well for them. The Cavs as an organization were awful in putting quality players around Lebron. Miami was able to win 2 titles out of 4 years and had to go through the Spurs as well as the Thunder which had KD, Westbrook, Harden (all 3 eventually became MVPs) as well as in-his-prime Ibaka. The Thunder were a young team and not as cohesive as the Warriors were, but they were still talented.

Again, Gilbert had Lebron for a total of 11 years. One title. Where am I wrong?

And if certain Cavs fans get butt hurt by this fact, maybe they shouldn't keep saying that Miami's been crap the last 6 years post-Lebron, when Miami had some rare circumstances (Bosh's career ending) that were attributed to some of our struggles.
@ChiefsLakers67 come on...you're better than that (to like this drivel).

so much ignored or misinformation. How did the cap "work well" for the Cavs when they got Lebron? They had no cap room until after his second season. Hard to add players with no commitment from Lebron to stay (which they never had). Never mind it's not Gilbert's fault Cleveland not a hotbed for young, rich guys.

Miami was able to pair Lebron with Bosh AND Wade and never faced a team on the level of GS, who the cavs faced 4 times. Fact he tried to put OKC on GS level is Post of the Year material. also allows Misfortune of Bosh injury as an excuse for Miami (and it could be), but how about the Cavs losing Love and Kyrie in 2014-15?

and let's note when cavs did have a commitment from Lebron and cap room they attracted Love to want to be dealt here and resign.

No butt hurt....is what it is. and I saw a title I never thought I'd see so no complaints on my end. Also no mention Miami lost Lebron to Gilbert, too. He chose to leave his best friend and play for a guy he hated. Why? His will to win/spend.

Do you actually think money means anything right now?

When we're talking about canceling a season and losing out on money later on in the year? Yes.

Tennis won't even come close to ratings and money. Hence why they're just going to cancel it. But the NBA's willing to start this thing up in June so long as this pandemic starts to shift downwards.

If you don't think the NBA playoffs mean something to the league from a monetary standpoint, then let me know. I'll explain to you how the real world works.

So you're an idiot, got it.

And for as smart as Gilbert is that you claim him to be, how has he had Lebron for 11 total years on the Cavs, and mustered 1 NBA title?

ccl stock - Google Search

I told you to short this weeks ago, and all you did was complain...Sad!

NBA is a business. Some owners don't care as long as the money keeps rolling in. Fans like yourself typically can't understand this simple fact.

No they won't lol

Once everything starts going back to normal in a few months we are still going to be social distancing. Kinda hard to social distance when you are smashing into each other sweating all over each other playing african round ball. The season is over, not sure why you ever care, your heat teams was going to get embarrassed anyways in the 1st or 2nd round in the East. The true losers are the lakers because of Lebrons advanced old age...
