Agreed. JB was a monster on the line and yes I also believe he could have been HoF bound. Buddy had an amazing defense, just too bad he wouldn't get an actual OC or things might have been different back than.

As good as the DLine was the OLine was on the exact opposite side of the scale. I mean they actually had a lot of O talent too. Randall Cunningham, Keith Byars, Keith Jackson, Mike Quick, Chris Carter but that’s OLine was so god awful it destroyed a lot of potential. Even if they just had a regular old average OLine they had the talent to pocket SBs. Not a SB but Super Bowls

If Donald wasn't playing he would be in the argument for best, I wonder if Donald being so good could hurt Cox's chances

Really good point. Cox is probably the 2nd best DT but Donald is so fucking good there’s not much difference between 2 and 6 but there’s a large difference between 1 and 2.
I remember I started a thread “Fletcher Cox is the best DT in the NFL”. Then I watched the Rams closely for like two games and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Cox is great. Donald is from a different planet.

If only the Giants took Reggie White in the USFL supplemental draft.

There is a clear number two. Cox is a hall of Famer. It's not his fault Donald came along at the same time.

Good Lord..Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor on the same D?? :faint2:

So close to happening too. The Giants took a LT and with the next pick we got Reggie White. They almost had the greatest and 2nd greatest defensive players ever together in their primes. Could you imagine

Von Miller and Champ Bailey represent the new generation defenders that should make the list for the Broncos. Steve Atwater and I would probably have to go Randy Gradishar as the other two. Gradishar should be in the HOF and Atwater finally made it!
