Good point.

I think we might have improved slightly or stayed the same but I like what both the Giants and Eagles have done this offseason. It appears there is still a gap between us and the rest of the NFC East.

What is it about their off seasons?

Eagles-got Slay for a 3rd and 5th while paying him nearly 17 million/season.
Javon Hargrave is getting 13 million/season but they didn’t really need him.

They have lost Darren Sproles and Jordan Howard.

Jason Peters and Vaitai are unaccounted for.

Malcolm Jenkins is gone.

NYG have picked up Bradberry and Martinez, but what else?

Seems like we've had this discussion a few times already. There's not just 1 or 2 options, and it depends on what the offers are. But generally speaking, yeah, I think there will be an option available that the Skins should take. There's some seriously outstanding talents other than Young in this draft, and if we can't come up with a LT in this draft - we suck.

There are upwards of 7 first round OT and 11 in the first two rounds. You don’t think any will slip to the third?

I do not like going into a round pressured to take a specific position in that round. I always advocate BPA at a position of need.

Rd 1: Young or trade back. Its pretty simple
Rd 2: Only via trade back or TW trade: If we want Trautman, I think you have to take him here. He appears to be a special player and he is shooting up draft boards. He will not last to the 3rd round. If you do not want to target Trautman here, then I think WR is best value in Rd 2 given how deep the draft is at WR. I agree CB is good here if we do not sign anothe one.
Rd 3: If not Trautman, TE, WR, CB or OL would be good value here.
Rd 4: This might be our most important round as we have two picks here. I would like to see DL, CB, RB or WR here if we don't address any of those spots in the previous 2 rounds. Really speaking, is BPA to be honest.

So much of this depends on what we have of course. While I am not panicking, I am confused why the Kerrigan, Dunbar and TW situations have no movements from what we can tell. I thought one of three would have been gone by now. We are either VERY patient or we are playing chicken. Rome wasn't built in a day but I am hoping we don't have unrealistic expectations for draft capital on these 3 players.

You seriously want to force taking a LT in the 3rd round - no matter who's there?

I don’t force anything. If one is available in round 3 and worthy, draft him. My point is a second round talent will be in round 3.
I haven't been able to find a crystal ball on ebay, so I can't make that assumption.

Can’t see the skins passing on Cole Kmet at TE in round 3
