Except Detroit won't quite be able to do that if Kennard and Blake Griffin ever get healthy. They'll continue to be mediocre enough to hover around 10th or 11th in the conference every year.

Charlotte is so odd, they have the GOAT in Jordan, a guy who's mentality is win-win-win-win-win and all he's ever done was win, but for some reason the basketball franchise he owns is remarkably bad. And they show no signs of trying to be competitive and being any sort of championship caliber team. Their off-season moves were mind boggling awful.

With that said, I think Charlotte will always have a better future then Detroit, because Charlotte is Charlotte, NC and Detroit is Detroit, MI. Also part of me just figures eventually MJ is going to get things figured out....right?

Currently I think the Pistons have a better roster than the Hornets, and I think there are some decent young pieces in Detroit to be competitive in a couple years, but their problem may be how do they hold onto any great talent?
