You have a wide selection of RBs now. 2 Cowboys RB, 3 Rams RBs and 2 Steelers RBs.
I must admit, I shopped for early picks to hopefully grab a RB, but the price was always a RB in return. At least, the deal makes me feel a lot better since I like my chances of a starting WR at 13 or 14 much better than at RB. Maybe not a Moore type talent but you do what you gotta do - - and ya just never know, his clone may be lurking behind the wall
:peep: . ....

It will be tough to tell who wins this one. That Pittsburgh backfield has turned into another nightmare so I don't blame Monkey at all for getting rid of it, although he just traded for a wide receiver which was the last thing he needed. I honestly liked both of your rosters better with before you made that deal, but what the hell do I know.

Well, I can't speak for Monkey but I can assure you that I'm not done reshaping mine yet. .... shocking isn't it ?

Well bugger, I just ain't got the ammo to pull off anything I'm truly interested in doing, and what I could get done, just doesn't inspire me enough to do it. Frustrating time of year. Hurry up free agency, hurry up NFL combine, hurry up NFL draft...ughh

hopefully I'm also not finished making tweaks!
Getting a glimpse of what the Steelers offense looked like without BigBen really put a damper on the future prospects of retaining that backfield, imo. I know it's all bullshit, but PIT GM saying they like what they have in their QB room behind Ben........yuck.

WR wasn't a position of need, but DJ Moore fits what I look for in stud WRs. Also figured CAR QB situation couldn't get worse than what it was last year, and he balled out most weeks. I'm finally starting to come around on the WR > RB mantra for dynasty.

Oh you have the ammo - you just won't part with the guys that could get something done. .... at least in my case. ...

Haha, that is true. Your case with Zeke, same with Monkey and Henry, and Irish with CMAC...there is a price, I do have the means, but just can't do it

Okay, so I just got an offer from the same guy that Dad did. He wants Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams and is willing to send me either the San Francisco or Detroit backfields plus the 1.9 and the 2.3. Just wanted to know if anybody would like to throw an offer into the ring before I start negotiating with him on it. I really wasn't planning on dealing Jones, but that would give me 5 of the first 17 picks. Not entirely sure I'll do it, but I wanted to put it out there.

You have two premium picks. Trade him Gordon for his picks and let him keep those 49ers RBs.:D

I'm gonna assume that would equate to a fire sale and lots of confidence in this yrs rooks if you do. ..... apparently he has the trade bug this yr. .....

I hope it works out for ya except when you play me :D. As for the PIT RB's, I have high hopes for a much better showing with Ben back - - since 'long-term' is 1, or 2 yrs max, for me - - that's all I really care about. ....

The trades and trade talks are making it hard to sit tight. Which is/was my plan.:gaah:

That would be, a SF or a Detroit backfield's, worth more than I would offer for him. So, if you're so inclined, you won't find a better offer outta me :)

Well, if you want a first round pick, come a calling. But I've looked quite a few times and just can't see where, other than the simple fact you don't have a #1, that what I'm selling, fits what you might wanna buy, at a price I'd be willing to accept. Certainly willing to be wrong though! ;)

I'll roll it around. I like this draft class TBH. Pretty sure which RB I would take with the 1.1 ( if I had it. Actually own that pick in a couple of leagues) and got a RB that I like that is a bit off the radar. Also know which WR I'd take first, but also got a WR that will go later that I really like. Problem being the pieces folks would want. Rookies are interesting for their potential, but vets that are valuable are hard to part with also. Also hard to say where players other then the most obvious will land in a FF draft at this point. Would really suck to trade for a mid round pick , thinking you could land a guy you want only to see him go ahead of you,

Like the class too. What I don't like is friggin @Bandit picking twice before I go at 1.6. I like the odds of a primo prospect sliding by a few others, but not likely to sneak by that prude twice! Lol

Edited my post to say just that sort of.
