‘Zero’ Chance Tom Brady Stays With Patriots, Linked to Raiders, Per Analyst

Analyst: No Chance Tom Brady Stays With Patriots, Linked to Raiders | Heavy.com

Tom Brady added a lot of fuel to the fire in terms of free agent speculation when he decided to chat it up with Raiders owner Mark Davis while attending a UFC fight in Las Vegas on Saturday. The future Hall of Fame quarterback will be entering free agency for the first time in his career and it’s starting to look like a real possibility he could leave the New England Patriots.

Even though he’s 42-years old and coming off his most disappointing season, there will likely be many teams interested in his services. Strong quarterback play is hard to come by and it might be worth the risk for a talented team to take a chance on Brady. James Stewart on Felger & Mazz at 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston “has a person who [he] trusts that is connected to Tom Bracy” who dropped some revealing information about Brady’s eventual free agency.

“Vegas, LA Chargers, Saints, [Indianapolis], Washington have all called on Brady,” host Michael Felger said of Stewart’s report.

"a person who [he] trusts that is connected to Tom Brady” - is this source named Gron Juden? How about Dark Mavis?

Carr is better than Brady at this point though.

Bad move for Oaklavegas.

I mean, Brady might have another good season in him if he actually had receivers and other help. But he's WAY past being the HOFer he was.

And it's certainly possible he's washed.

Other than NE and Cincy, there aren't many franchises without a better option.

The Chargers too. And Miami.

A 40whatever year old that can't move doesn't seem like a hot commodity to me.

He's definitely good for putting butts in the seats and games on TV. Something Miami and Cincy and the Chargers all desperately need.

It'd make plenty of sense for the Chargers and Miami.

Maybe Cincy, if they somehow wanted to pass on the Heisman winning local boy. Without their fanbase burning things to the ground.

Raiders are gonna be a hard ticket to get for awhile imo.

Brady would be smart to stay with the Pats. He works pretty good in that system and if he struggles, it will just be dismissed as age. If he goes to another team and bombs, I imagine many will attribute his success to Bellichick and his system. He was struggling quiet a bit in a system he generally performs very well in. It's hard to see him having much better success in new system.

My connections are telling me he's leaning towards Chargers. Vegas was ruled out earlier this week.

If BB don't want him any longer, it's difficult seeing why anyone else would want him.

Of course, there are a lot of morons running NFL franchises.

And believe me, I'm an expert on morons running an NFL franchise.

Seems odd the Saints would have called on him since I don't see him being an upgrade over Brees at this point in their respective careers. If I'm going with an old vet I'd rather go with the guy that's been in my system for years upon years.

Washington seems odd as well but it is Snyder so it's not crazy either.

Rest make a certain degree of sense since they probably the Raiders, Chargers, and Colts probably feel they could compete with an upgrade at QB.

He should stay put or retire, but probably won't. I'm sure he didn't like the ending of that wildcard game and would love one last chance to silence the critics.

But it won't end well if he joins another team.

I could see the Raiders offering the 42 year old a 4 year deal worth $115M lol

I heard he likes what the Browns are doing and he's always had resentment towards Bill for leaving the Browns. He is also a great friend to OBJ and wants to win a ship together.
