If it's an issue with health, he shouldn't be playing 38 minutes in a game where they were up by 20 in the 4th.

If they wanted to load manage, why not wait till the end of the regular season? We're just about to hit the halfway point of the season and Kawhi has already sat down for 25% of the games.

In the case of the Lakers with AD and Lebron, in the last two weeks of the season 6 out of the 8 games they play are against teams that are currently below .500
And while I detest "load management", THAT would be the time to sit your star players. NBA fines be damned. By then you've already made the playoffs and gives the 2nd unit a great opportunity to step up just before the playoffs.

Either way, as Mecca pointed out, he's not practicing a lot. So keeping him in the game could very well be for him to get more practice with the rest of the team.

I go work out hard all the time.

Sometimes, I can't do a 5 mile run , back to back days, because of soreness.

I run hard Monday, take Tuesday off, run hard again Wednesday.

Running 3 miles a day doesn't help.

I'm still sore no matter what because of a previous knee injury.
