THE KGB WAITS FOR NO ONE!
I hope the Harbaugh Era lasts a decade more, I really do.
Harbaugh has better players, but is also in a much harder division of football than Nebraska has ever been in.
Please.
Mike Riley and Scott Frost have BOTH beaten Sparty in the last 4 years. Bo Pelini also went 2-2 against them.
Riley never played Penn St, but Frost did in his 1st season (2017). Penn St won 56-44 (a 12 pt margin).
That same season (2017), Penn St beat Harbaugh's Michigan 42-13 (a 29 pt margin).
Minnesota beat Penn St this season. Wisconsin beat Michigan this season.
I note you Michigan pimps like your moral victories, like to distract/deflect, and like to hold onto tOSU's coat tail.
"We were winning at halftime."
"Look over there."
"We're in Ohio St's division. That automatically makes us good too."
.
***cough, cough*** 2017 was Rileys last year (not Frosts first) *** cough, cough***
If Michigan were in the west these past five years, we would have (according to how the season played out) been in the title game twice by now. So don’t tell me it isn’t a factor.Ever?
1971
#1 Nebraska
#2 Oklahoma
#3 Colorado
1995
#1 Nebraska
#5 Colorado
#7 Kansas St
#9 Kansas
Has the B1G ever done that? Not a dig, I am genuinely curious.
Dude needs to relax with this harder division stuff. Always saying it simply because Ohio St is in their division. Even by current B1G standards... the East is Ohio St and everybody else. Sure the East has the toughest team in the B1G, but it also has the weakest team in the B1G. The strength of the West is considerably more spread out.
But nonetheless, division this or division that. Michigan has never been to the B1G title game even when they weren't in the same division as Ohio St.

Bo Pelini wouldn't be welcome back at Nebraska, idiot.
Scott Frost has CFB Division and Conference Titles.
Scott Frost has a NY6 Bowl win.
Harbaugh has NONE of the above.
Scott Frost >>> Jim Harbaugh
.
Yep.Umm Harbaughs 3-2 vs PSU and you guys haven’t been close to beating him in Ann Arbor. You sure about that?
You said it yourself. Bo Pelini won 9 games a year at Nebraska. Scott Frost has won 9 games in TWO YEARS at Nebraska.
Just imagine if Frost had to play in the division where all the teams he cried about having to play were in. He may only have 5 or 6 wins.
But the bright side is — he is undefeated in bowl games as Nebraska’s coach

Is the east, outside of tOHSU, really that much better than West?
Wisconsin is same level (and depending on season either can be better) as Michigan
Iowa/Mi State
Mn/Indiana
Purdue/Maryland
Illinois/Rutgers
NW/PSU
Neb/tOSH
Ok, you got us on the last two, but even then PSU isn't unbeatable.
East has the best (tOSHU) and the worst (rutgers) in the division.
If Minnesota keeps getting better — the gap will be much closer. Props to them this year.
I thought adding Nebraska would be what helped the division out, but that has done absolutely nothing to help.
It absolutely is. Because of Ohio State. It's basically a guaranteed loss for most teams on any given year in the East. And on any given year, there are at least two teams in the East better than the best team in the West. The bad teams are the bad teams in both. Being the most bad isn't really an advantage. Blowing our Rutgers vs. beating Illinois or Purdue by a few TD's really doesn't matter to the best teams. There's a slightly elevated risk, but minimal.I agree East is better, but I don't think the gap is what many on east think it is
Maryland/rutgers are pretty bad. Indiana is on the rise, but they've been pretty bad.
