I'd say the 9ers and Saints are the favorites with the Seahawks close behind and than the Packers.

I don't think any of those teams can win it from the WC spot so whoever gets the bye and especially that #1 seed is going to be the favorite to go all the way.

This is especially true for the 9ers since they had their bye in week 4 and I think you're starting to see their roster slowly take hits with injuries and especially nagging injuries.

All 3 teams would benefit from HFA throughout the playoffs but I'd say the Saints gain the biggest advantage from it. In years past I'd say the Seahawks but they really have not been great at home this year for some reason. 9ers have been pretty good at home so they'd love to get that HFA too.
the seahags are so overrated.

The game yesterday was another nail biter. If I was a Saints fan I would be annoyed at Payton. Brees was having his way the first half. The defense could not stop him. Bringing in the backup QB to run sweeps hurt them more than helped. There were a couple of tackles for losses on those that put them in long yardage situations. And then the fake punt wasn't a risk they needed to take.

It got a little easier to imagine them having to win it in Santa Clara to get to the Super Bowl.

Am I mistaken but aren't you the same person who said they wouldn't go to the SuperBowl when Brees went out?

payton is very aggressive. sometimes it works out for him and sometimes it backfires. they are definitely not boring to watch.

I get it. dont mind trick plays or sweeps with a backup QB if the offense is struggling or to try and change momentum in a game if things are going against you. But why take risks and change an offense when you are pretty much moving the ball at will. Doesn't make sense to me

Payton mystifies me at times.

Losing Cook didn't help them though.

the seahags are so overrated.

Seahawks have a great QB, though. Niners and Ravens are the best all around teams in football. Maybe Niners are even number 1, but I rank the following playoff-bound and likely playoff-bound QB's ahead of Jimmy G (though Jimmy G is starting to close the gap with his recent play):

1. Lamar Jackson
2. Brady
3. Wilson
4. Rodgers
5. Mahomes
6. Brees
7. Watson
8. Cousins
9. Prescott

Jimmy is still behind, but he is showing that he can play good enough to win a Super Bowl, IMO.

Brady is near the bottom of the list now. Jimmy G is better than Dak and Cousins at least.

Lets see...2 years ago a prayer was answered by Diggs and the Saints went marching home...last year a ref suffered from temporary blindness and missed an obvious PI call, but the Saints didn't have to march home as they were already there...

It's a funny game with an odd shaped ball and strange outcomes happen all the time... that's probably the reason Dolphin fans show up for games or watch them on TV...you just never know for sure
The only guarantee in football is the Packers holding on every play.
