Please! They were favored by 7 in that game. They've reached the point where they can compete with anyone but they've shown so far that they cannot close against a team that is their equal or better. That will come with time and experience. I think there may be one guy on offense (Staley) who has played in a playoff game? Only one on defense too, I believe (Sherman).

Kept the pressure on the HOFer! Went the length of the field with 53 seconds left!! The Defense had a couple players go down hopefully not serious!! The Defense has gone through the Gauntlet this season!! Go 49ers!! Jimmy G looks like a Veteran!
You got it. They are an average team led by an excellent quarterback. That makes them a dangerous team, not a good team.

That's too bad and a shame this great season is happening NOW, and you're still adding negatives?! After going thru what we've gone thru since Harbaugh, we KNOW had bad seasons can be. So now that its great, do enjoy it TOTALLY.
Whatever happens the rest of the way, we'll end this season being positive. This team is on the rise and will compete in the play-offs at least a few more years.
