Brady was pretty mobile last night ... for Brady anyway ... he held the ball longer than most other times ... his throws didn’t seem weak to me ... and to say his decision making is failing just doesn’t make sense

he’s frustrated out of his mind and where he fails is that his negativity has to be taking a toll on the team

he gotta knock that crap off

The Patriots have a plethora of issues. The problem is that many of them were known in training camp. We heard all of the excuses like no cap space, no players available on and on.

Here's my take......

Center. Right now there are at least 200 Divison 1 centers sitting home not playing football saying, "I can play center better than that." The truth is that they can and would be to play for league minimum.

LT - If Belichick had gone out and found a real center, then Newsome might not have been a last ditch trade. Then again, I'm sure that there are Division 1 LT out there who could have played equally as well or possibly better than concrete feet Newsome. The only reason that BB kept him is because he didn't want to admit making a horrible deal.

RT - Cannon has been a passable RT in the past but has been a liability in 2019. If BB had found a center, Karras could easily play RT and do it much better than Cannon.

WR - The group on the field may be the weakest in the past ten years and part of that is the fact that the Patriots don't have a real TE. At 38 Watson is a one-trick pony and that trick doesn't fool anyone anymore. How many TE's have we seen the Patriots pass by in the draft over the past five years. There wasn't a need but having a quality guy to back up or take the place of an oft injured TE might make some sense.

FB - You have two and they go down. There isn't another fullback in the world better than Elandon Roberts?

It seemed to me from the outset that Belichick turned his back on the OL and put his (and his kid’s) attention on the D ...

Wynn was just a bandaid to cover up the void on that line

Speaking of Skippy, he has to realize this isn't 2007 Brady or even 2015 Brady either. Why the hell is your 42 year old QB leading the league in pass attempts? Get the damned running game cranking!

I am having less and less faith in Michel to be honest.

And where is Harris?

Maybe Scarnecchia told him, "Nah, we got this"?

I don't see Michel as an issue I really don't

I don't see him as a liability, but he is not wowing me either.
He's no Blount, that's for sure.

Bolden is averaging 4.1 yards to Michel's 3.5 rushing to go along with his 12.3 yard average receiving over Michel's 8.2.

Just saying.

Michel is easily the teams leading rusher. Your stats are misguided as most stats are when people only want to present a portion of conversation.

Yeah, I know it is 184 attempts to 14.
I think Bolden is a fricken waste of a roster spot.
Michel is not making me think he will be a great receiver either.

50 yards per game?

Let's see what Harris has.

Receiving:
Bolden 9/11
Michel 9/15

Bolden 111 yards
Michel 74

More games played, more games started, more opportunities, Bolden has better stats.

Just saying.

Most of this video is garbage. Please don’t watch the whole thing. However, if you start at 1:50 and stop at 3:40 I think there is some great insight into the Pats, what’s wrong with them and how Brady is feeling.

Well, maybe Stidham will trust them? If TB doesn't then maybe the Pats need to find someone who does because they have four more games. A big one Sunday afternoon. Can't go out and find five guys that TB trusts by Sunday. Time to put on big boy pants and work with guys you've got. Maybe work a little OT this week.

Hoping this is all it is :D

From my seat, Sony Michele is not the answer. Without a great OL, he can't do anything on his own. He can't get a hitch in his giddyup and pop outside or find a different hole when the one he heading for is closed. He drives into a clog and goes down like a $2 whore.

I caught an analysis showing Brady sending Dorsett a signal, then Dorsett ran the wrong route. The video first shows the signal, then shows Brady throw a ball to a spot nobody was near and Dorsett barely in the frame. The analyst showed the signal and explained what it meant, then they showed the bench where Brady and Skippy were looking at their tablet and Brady smacked the screen with a finger and made the same signal indicating "see, I changed the play".

It isn't Brady not trusting his receivers as much as his receivers not earning the trust. Dumb the system down and why have Coach Brady on the field when any slinger will do? Intelligence has always been the signature of Brady led offences.

It doesn't take any intelligence to look down a field and see that there isn't a player where you intend to throw the ball. Might have been a problem for Dorsett to see the signal considering there was a James White standing between Brady and Dorsett. I saw the same video as you did. White makes a better door than a window.

Another thing was that the DB on Dorsett was like body wrap for most of the night. Chances of Dorsett being open was 50/50 at best.

It's about timing, Brady, or any other QB, is throwing the ball to where the receiver is supposed to go long before the receiver makes his cut or change of direction.
If the play calls for an inside cut and Brady throws the ball to the inside, but the receiver cuts outside, Brady will not know that until after he has thrown the ball.

I don't see Michel as the issue, not sure how anyone does to be honest. The Pats are a RB by committee team, they don't have a so called feature back it's not what they do. The organize a group based on their skill sets they feel will benefit the team. Michel is doing what his role requires him to do, with a marginal O Line to boot.

Maybe the offenses you coach. Brady three that ball at the point where Dorsett was supposed to break. The ball had arc and no defender was near enough to make a similar break on the pass.

Not saying he is THE issue.
All I'm saying is he ain't the savior either. He's an average running back and should be better for a first round pick.
