Across The Field
Oaky Afterbirth
Samurai is basically echoing my sentiment. It isn't year 2 anymore. We're closing out year 5, and michigan is dreadfully bad against top 10 teams, can't beat their biggest rival, is barely over .500 against their other two biggest rivals, can't win their division (let alone the conference), and has been embarrassed in bowls for 3 years straight. All of this and all they have to pay him is more than any coach in the entire country but two. He's an embarrassment, and for what? Because he's the prodigal son? A "michigan man"?I'm not sure they have more talent than a program like PSU. It's similar as far as recruiting rankings go. So they have the two losses to them, the five to Ohio State. So that's 7 with what I'd say lesser/equal talent, especially on the road in those PSU games. 2015 MSU went to the playoffs. So that's 8. Sure there are losses where Michigan has had more talent, but it's still tough to play at where they lost. And upsets happen. I'd say probably the only games he should have won that he lost were Iowa in 2016 and MSU in 2017.
How many more years are you willing to put up with this if you're michigan?
