And LeBron wasn't the reason he lost any of the finals. He should have been Finals MVP in a losing year in 2015 for example

Look I'm not for sure saying LeBron is better than MJ. But this year he is showing that he can play better than Jordan for sure in his later years, and he can do things Jordan couldn't ever do.

I think they are pretty much equal

In fairness,

Jordan didn’t really have later years.

He retired at 35 still widely considered the best in the game. Then he game back after sitting 3 seasons and was still an effective player, but certainly far from great.

Yours are interesting points...

... that being said: the pace and scoring of the league is way, way up compared to MJ's heyday... and the officiating favors offense more today... MJ's ability and output is still more impressive, IMO.

MJ’s best scoring season (1987) the pace was pretty comparable to what it is today. The 90s brought ugly basketball and a super slow pace, but the pace has been trending up since 2004 and is finally back to where it was in the mid 80s.

So yes, faster than MJ’s heyday, but pretty similar to MJ’s 37 PPG season.

Most likely not because he was ejected - Usually that counts as enough - but you never know -

No, it doesn’t.

When a player commits a really egregious act on the court, he usually gets suspended after being ejected.

Not saying Rondo’s kick qualifies, but your take is wrong. Suspensions get levied on top of ejections for dirty non-basketball plays.

I really like this Thunder team. If they could find a way to win the 2-5 point games they would only have 1 loss at this point. Young team gotta grow.

That only helps LeBron's case

Yep.

But, again...

Luka is fire.

Going to see him live for the first time next Friday.

Im so excited.

Grandson and I picked the Bucks game as our annual guys night out event. Lakers tickets were stupid expensive but very good Bucks tickets in March are quite reasonable.

Luka vs the Freak. We’re both stoked.

Very.

But, lol @ Russ' Brother.

Trezl?

Come on, Son.

I'm not trying to fight that Dude.

LOS ANGELES — The brother of Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook was escorted out of Staples Center because of his role in a heated verbal confrontation with Los Angeles Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell and for “rushing the court” at the end of Friday night’s game, security officials told Yahoo Sports.

“He rushed the court,” a security official told Yahoo Sports. “He was in clear violation”

Yeah, that will be a awesome game to see.

I'm mildly disappointed that the Suns aren't totally terrible, although they are trending in that direction now.

I was looking forward to those $6.00 a game tickets that I enjoyed all last Season.

So far, I have only been to the game they beat the Clippers.

That only helps LeBron's case

It is what it is.

LeBron will inevitably decline and be something less than spectacular at some point. But he sure is playing great right now.

That never really happened with Jordan because he retired early and people don’t really count the Wizard years. So in many peoples minds I do think Jordan gets a little boost because he didn’t go through the late career struggle that all other greats eventually face.

And others will knock LeBron if he does anything other than win a championship. Because Jordan was 6-6.

I think the Finals record thing is stupid and I think title count is overrated. It all has to be taken into context. LeBron is playing with house money at this stage of his career, which I think might have been your point.

Yes and they play well together. Unfortunately I think Galinari is gone soon.

The more I see the Thunder, the more I don't get why they traded PG. This is a good competitive team. PG would make them a solid playoff team and picking up another top player who fit well with him would make them contenders.

PG asked to be traded and Presti didn't want to hold him hostage. Getting Galanari and SGA plus all those draft picks was the right move.

I know. Just thinking about how good they could have been. That's a tough young team. They're fun to watch too.

Plus, without that trade, they don't have Gallo and SGA who are big parts of why they're as good as they are.

We will see, the play didnt look that bad, but the player looked like he was in pain assuming he wasnt doing a good acting job. ive seen them drop a lot worse over the years, so youre not always right and you dont know everything as you think you do

I am not talking specifically about the Rondo play.

You said ejection is normally enough. That isn’t true.

If the player’s action warrants suspension, he will be suspended whether he was ejected or not.

And yeah, what you said was wrong.
