Speaking of the playoffs I'm all in favor of the Celtics raising another banner.

A little surprised a Lakers fan wouldn't want the Celtics to raise another banner.
Depends on how the Clippers do with George on the roster.
If they win a single Championship, it was worth it.
Plus, ya know...
They didn't just trade all those players and picks for George.
They traded them to get George and Kawhi.
This has nothing to do with that
It takes 6+ hours to fly from Portland to Miami and 5+ hours from NYC to LA.
Expecting a team to finish playing 10 or 11 PM local time one night, do press conferences, get on a long 5 or 6 hour flight overnight or the next morning to go across the country then play at 7 or 8 PM EST local time the day isn't fair.
I don't know if you ever traveled but it is tiring and I'm not a professional athlete
so far, the Lakers are looking like they're playing the 2nd game of a back-to-back...
Exactly. Professional athletes don't travel like regular people. It's not like they're flying coach.
Of all of the excuses used by and for pro athletes, travel is by far the most lame.
Travel time don't change if you're flying coach or first class.
Flying first class doesn't turn a 5+ hr flight to a 2 hour flight
There's a huge difference between flying coach, first class and having chartered flights.
Back in the 70's teams used to travel on commercial flights and play back to back to back games.
Sorry, but for today's players, travel is a lame excuse.
I think its a lame excuse when it is a short enough flight. Going from East to West Coast or vice versa multiple times weekly with no full days of rest due to travel is never going to fly when it comes to removing conferences from the playoffs.
FIFYSixers fans booing Jimmy like they are required to by law there lol
I actually feel bad for the Heat at this point.
Nothing to feel bad about.
It is an 82 game season. These games happen almost to everyone at some point during the season.
They're 11-4 and will be just fine
