Terrible slate of games for a Saturday and no late games.

But Pelicans/Hornets is coming down to the wire

He had surgery on it dumbass.

It isn’t just a run of the mill broken bone as you are making it out to be.
No shit Sherlock. That’s why is out 3 months instead of 3 weeks you moron
Load management baby! Play him 20 minutes a night, skip a few nights Kawhi style. He can play if he wants.
I mean if he sits out the last 2 weeks of the season or they give him the 2nd night if backs to backs off that’s fine. I just don’t know how you could justify sitting a perfectly healthy player out for 30 games or whatever it would be. That’s just being a coward

There is no point arguing with people who can't get passed their biases.

I hate certain players, teams.

Not enough to look like a hypocrite when discussing them.
How do you sit out a healthy player for 25-30 games in a row?

sot him out the 2nd night of back to backs. Shut him down the last week or two of the season but shutting down a player for 25-30 games simply because his team sucks is being a coward.

So KP is a coward also?

Love the way you keep ignoring my point about KP missing all of last year due to a torn acl that happened prior to the AS break in the 2018 season. A injury that is roughly a 8 month injury but he couldn't play last year?

I get it though. You won't say shit about that because he doesn't play on one of the teams you hate

Yep. On a sports board, having a little integrity is probably the main way to avoid being a clown. All we know about each other is what we type, so for a guy who fancies himself a sports expert to change his story whenever the players or teams involved change is the height of clowniness.
Approve of a healthy player sitting out 25 plus games in a row because his team sucks?

That’s cowardice

Difference between major knee surgery and rehab for a 7 foot big man than there is for a fucking broken hand.
It yes. If he was 100% healthy and just sat out 30 games In a row that’s ridiculous

but comparing major knee surgery to a broken hand bone is one of the dumbest fucking things I have ever heard of.
I mean if that’s what you are doing you are a total ass clown. The two arent even remotely comparable.

I mean- trying to compare a torn ACL to a broken hand might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Porzingis had knee surgery in mid-february. The timeline for a torn ACL is 8-12 months.

Kristaps Porzingis has successful surgery to repair ACL

add in the fact that he is 7' 3" just complicates it. As they say in the NBA- there is no such things as "minor" knee surgery.

Porzingis will NEVER for the rest of his career have the same type of movement he had before the surgery. Scar tissue, etc. will forever limit him. He has lost something- just as Klay Thompson will when he comes back. Its just the nature of it.

A hand injury? lol...GMAFB.

I would have no problem with "load management" from Curry- if he wants to sit out the 2nd end to back to backs, and he wants to take off a game when he has 4 games in 6 nights or whatever thats great I get it

The NBA has done a great job of eliminating the 4 games in 5 nights and has brought down the number of back to backs DRAMATICALLY in the last 2 years, but that is still legitmate

what is in no way shape or form legitmate is just saying- fuck the rest of the season when there are 25-30 games left when you are fully healthy just because your team sucks.

thats pure cowardice.

even Love came back last year. The Cavs brought him back slowly, and gave him time off, and limited his minutes- but he would have been a HUGE bitch to just be like- well the team is noit very good, and even though im healthy im just calling it. He helped the young guys and the Cavs were 7-9 towards the end of the year.

He came back to support his team and get some wins and help the young guys.

Thats actually having some balls. Thats not being a coward and a bitch.

if Curry is fully healthy- which there is no reason he shouldnt be after 3 months from a fucking broken hand- and he decides to sit out 25 games in a row because his team his bad it will be the height of cowardice. It would be a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge bitch move.

on top of that- I would doubt hte league would even allow it. How could you possibly justify sitting out a star player for 25-30 games in a row when he is healthy? Its the exact type of pussiness they are trying to get rid of.

A broken bone that heals is a LOT different than a soft tissue that requires constant rehab and attentiveness and never fully comes back to 100%.

if he shuts it down for November, December, January, February, March, and April with a broke hand he will humiliate himself in front of the other players and coaches in the league. He will be a joke.

Him playing mean they likely win some games they would lose.

All of sudden Mr. LOTTERY PICKS MEANS EVERYTHING is against a team trying to get a top 5/top 10 pick.

You crack me up

Never seen someone go against their own bullshit. I remember when Miami was trying to win some games and Wiggy blasted the Heat for being a middling playoff team. GS potentially could sit Curry out for the rest of the season as they'd probably be out of the playoffs by late February, so they'd set themselves potentially for a higher draft pick; he then calls bullshit saying he should play.

Wiggy, which one is it? Tank or not to tank?

SIX WEEKS is the standard for a broken hand. 3 months is DOUBLE that-

if it turns into the whole season he should feel humiliated.

when did i ever say that perfectly healthy players should take off huge parts of the season? that doesnt even make sense. Its not even somthing that the league is likely to allow.

it would be the biggest pussy move in the modern history of the NBA.

you cant "tank" by sitting out perfectly healthy players for weeks and weeks in a row.

So how come TT missed close to half of the season with a sprain. And last I checked, you were applauding the Cavs for sitting him out.
