Sandusky got to use the University facilities as part of a retirement package struck in 2009. He should lose his state pension as he repeatedly committed crimes while receiving it. This may hurt his wife. but not as much as this ped/hubby did.

It amazes me how someone didn't see all this coming.

I personally think he was forced into "retirement" much like Paterno will be.

He was caught and nearly indicted in 1998. At that time, he was one of the hottest DCs in the country and his name was being mentioned for HC gigs all over the country. In 1999, after the investigation, he mysteriously retires, at the age of 55? Ya right.

I think they knew what was up all along. They have testimony from janitors that caught him in the act in 2000. Then again in 2002.

And it still astounds me that NO ONE in the entire freaking town thought it was a good idea to CALL THE POLICE. NOBODY. NOT ONE PERSON. EVERYONE was scared for their jobs.

This is a problem in America. We love institutions, and use people......instead of loving people, and using institutions. Not ONE PERSON in this entire situation cared for the kids being victimized, not one!!!!!

They should fire the entire staff. PSU should be paying for counseling, and every last one of those kids should have a free ride at PSU or any other school of their choice on PSU's dime.

If it was me, I sure as hell wouldn't ever want to set foot on that campus again; I'd take it a step further and say that PSU should pay for those kids to go wherever they want.
