He failed his physical. I would think the team has every right to continue to not pay him until he is physically able to play. His surgery so far removed he cannot play that card. If TW is physically unable to "fit" a helmet on comfortably then he must retire as a helmet is a helmet, ask AB.

WOW, you really reached on that one.I will type this slow so you get it. If I make a really good living based on my physical abilities and I don't take extra care to insure my body is in the best condition it can be, then shame on me. That includes seeking medical advice. It has nothing to do with players staying in there place or going along to get along.

What exactly makes you think Williams hasn't gotten a 2nd and/or more opinions on his own? He probably looked at 2 of the latest Skins injured, Guice's first injury and Smith's injury and the infections that came with them. As well as all the injuries the Skins have had the last few years and decided he'd be better off seeking out his own treatment and doctors.

Allen is a fuckin clown and had the temerity to say this in early Oct. "We haven't put it together. We've made too many mistakes on game day. But the effort. The effort of the players and the rest of this organization is fantastic," Redskins Team President Bruce Allen said in early October.

Redskins only fooling themselves with refusal to sell at trade deadline

Allen also seems incapable of learning from his mistakes.

This team has made terrible decisions in free agency, highlighted by watching Kirk Cousins carve them up last Thursday night in Minnesota. And the team is on a similarly stupid franchise tag roadmap with Pro Bowl guard Brandon Scherff.

You really think he's stupid enough to franchise a OG 2 years in a row while paying him crazy loot like he did Cuz? I do. And for those who think the Browns only offered a 2nd rd pk.

Redskins reportedly irritating other teams ahead of trade deadline

Washington and Cincinnati been receiving calls for a while now, yet so far "ownership has declined to even consider moving forward on them," Jason La Canfora writes. Those around the league are apparently quite annoyed by this, with one GM saying specifically of the Redskins, "It's not like you are dealing with a normal team."

The Browns have been particularly aggressive in going after Trent Williams, but the Burgundy and Gold have rebuffed Cleveland time and again. Ryan Kerrigan is also garnering some interest from contending teams, per La Canfora, but those organizations don't believe he'll be moved before the deadline, either.

Fuck trying to get younger, faster, better or cap relief though. Why? Cuz Bruce thinks the Redskins are close

For quite some time, Bruce Allen has maintained that the Redskins are on the right path despite a hideous record that would suggest otherwise. Because of that record, Washington should, at the very least, entertain whatever offers come their way.

However, as long as Allen seriously believes that his plan is working, then it's likely no trades will happen, considering he's the one who executes them.

But instead of simply looking at all the full blown clusterfuckness Allen has created. Some Skins fans wanna be butt-hurt that Trent said fuck this team and start ass backwards rumors that Williams was mad at the drafting of Geron Christian. A rumor started by Chris Russell. Russell: Williams started resenting Redskins when they drafted Christian For years every Skins fan I know/talked to back east has said Russell is full of shit and bitter towards the Skins, but now all over sudden. Some Skins fans are taking his claims as gospel. That Williams, who has graded out as the NFL's 3rd best OT over the last 3 years Washington would be wise to come to terms with LT Trent Williams | NFL News, Rankings and Statistics | PFF piched a bitch cuz the Skins drafted Christian. GTFO with that nonsense. And from the previous story. It looks like Trent is wholly underpaid. As above average, possibly even good OTs, but nowhere near Williams standards are making more jack that him.

Good grief.............

This is just what losing and a losing culture gets you. I can see where both sides are coming from. The next CBA could be very interesting

You simply make too much sense!

Actually his direction is well intended, but his premise renders everything that follows irrelevant.

Its like this. Lets say you hire a contractor to do a project at your house. And you pay that contractor 50% down and then in the first draw, you give him another 40%. Then the contractor says he doesn't like the job anymore and leaves because you are just a son of a bitch to work for. Would that be right?

Sorry but it's not like that at all, not even close! I'll give you the reason why and a much better example using your terms as follows:

You introduce your premise as such, " Lets say you hire a contractor to do a project at your house," then go off the rails in attempting to justify this premise as something related to the current state of affairs on our football team. On the streets, you're spot on, but this isn't that, so you totally miss the mark.

A "contractor" ("he" "him") as described would be responsible for the work that he does or does not do in order to either complete or not finish the project. That, I believe we can agree on, but in your example, you infer that the "project" is one that he can do alone or with "his" crew in tow. In that instance he would also be responsible for the people that "he" brings along in order to complete the project. This is NOT an instance such as a plumber or an electrician in which he's singularly responsible for the job or a roofing job in which he brings in a crew.

Using your example a much better example goes as follows:

'Lets say you hire a contractor to do a project at your house.' You then hire a supervisory crew and a host of specialized contractors in order to get the job done. The project is jacked from start to finish and you're now pissed so you and your legal team want to blame someone for this. So, you target the one person who actually did his job in a highly skilled manner because he's decided in defense of his professional standard to disassociate himself from the clusterfucked unfinished project that's still under contract.

I never inferred any such thing. Sorry.

Unfortunately your premise is wrong about mine.

Your support of your premise was illogical in your original post, can you not now see that?

I don't want to pretend I like our FO but Dan offered to have Trent flown to the best doctor for his issue. I have heard he has been offered a chance at 2nd opinions before but turned them down. I cannot substantiate the 2nd comment.
