I call B.S., I dont see how the Skins werent offered a #1 pick. If Miami got 2 #1's, and a 2nd for Tunsil, Williams should have at least garnered a first rounder. B&D were looking for more.

Is it safe to say that a first round pick was NOT offered before the trade deadline?

It's hard to believe that there was ever conducive conversation had prior to today when Bruce leads with Denzel Ward after pissing around with the trade for a month thus lowering his value for an in season trade.

So yes....try again in four months. Maybe the 49ers will give them Nick Bosa.

I dont blame Bruce for not taking anything less than a first rounder for him. Why didn't the Browns or Pats offer their first rounder for him? Doesn't make sense.

I don't know the specifics of what happened obviously it just feels real hard to fathom how the Redskins would think Ward is a starter to a conversation if he and Dorsey were truly discussing this deal.

Granted Dorsey also hired Kitchens so he's had his moments also.

But I do think if first rounder came up when the Browns were 2-2 he would've went for it. My opinion...no basis of inside info at all

you cant blame Bruce for keeping him if the skins weren't offered a 1st rounder.

The question is do you think your Browns are a playoff contender? Does TW make them a contender? IMO the browns would have been a playoff contender with TW and that pick would of been in the early 20's. Small price to pay for a LT who is cheap for the next two years.

Because he is a malcontent that holds out for more money with two years on his contract while claiming it was really about the medical staff that he has now returned to for money.

Yes I blame the hell out of him, why?, because he's responsible for putting the team in position to trade him at the last minute. Duh Bruce certainly doesn't get a pass from me. If I had to give him an A-F letter grade for this, he gets a fuckin' Z.

My thoughts exactly

Curious, Why do you suppose it is that the tweeter has hate for Trent? He certainly didn't let his teammates down, nor keep it secret that he didn't want to be here, that all happened long before training camp began! Bruce should have made it a priority to trade him, wish him well in the future and moved on.

He had the C on his jersey, and it was all about the money, and the drafting of Christian

Nope! I'm pretty sure that there were offers from the Texans among those seeking his services much earlier in free agency. Bottom line Bruce screwed the pooch and yelped like a hungry dog as the deadline drew to a close because he couldn't get his way after turning down or being involved as opportunity after opportunity passed us by! So, to Bruce, #F'BruceAllen, now you guys figure out if you want it to be "Fire!" or "Fuck!":D

NO! Pretty sure that they could have gotten a 1 from Houston, possibly Clowney as well if we gave them something else in a trade of that magnitude.

Keep in mind that for us it's a game, for them a way of living! With that in mind, if TW said that he no longer wanted to play here because the center of his ass crack itched, then, as dumb as that is, it's his reason and the organization has a responsibility to honor his request. Knowing that they had a player to move, make every attempt to do what's in the best interest of this team without him. They failed and here we are, partially blaming an employee because he doesn't want to work here any longer. That said, let me ask... If Bruce Allen had taken Trent's edict, "no longer wanting to play here," and made a move much earlier in the season, would you be in a "Fuck Trent!" frame of mind?

He's already refused to play for one team.

No reason to think he won't do it again.

Is he actually going to play for Washington now? Heard he gave up his holdout.

Simply because Washington was the last minute seller and the 31 year old Williams will be 32 before next season arrives. The funny thing is, their public stance has been that they wanted to know the position of a possible trading partner as the next draft approached. So let me ask you, if you happened to be a GM with a first round pick next year and Washington approached you in search of that trade, would you draft a young stud OT/position of need with your pick or make the trade?

I guarantee that this is what's going to happen! They won't get a first, I question a second and will ultimately settle for something far less than what they could have gotten earlier in this free agent period. Of course Bruce will justify the small return because he's already laid the public groundwork, remember? ("It takes two to tango!")
