Really, Dansby needs to be moved up in the lineup. Never thought I’d be saying that.

You're right, it wasn't miraculous, it was St. Louis shitting the bed when they had an inferior team on the ropes.

Silly me.
Don’t do that.

It’s a civil discussion.

Had we been down 3-0 and hit a grand slam to win, that would have been miraculous. One run leads are erased in the late innings pretty regularly. The Cards have done it twice this series alone. It’s incredibly hard to win a game 1-0.

The FUCK it is

Can't wait for y'all to lose tonight
We probably will. Hopefully we don’t lay down and die though. The Cards refused to lose with their backs against the wall. We’ll see what happens when it’s win or go home for both

The sad part about this is: The Cardinals would still be playing.

This is the worst NL playoffs in a long time. Was hoping Milwaukee could have beaten Washington, at least.

Will also be interesting to see how the pitchers respond. Folty has a history of being a head case, but he looks far better mentally the second half this season. Better body language anyways. And this will by far be the highest pressure start in Flahery’s career

The Cards are probably my second favorite NL team.

But I’ve been hoping for a Braves-Nationals NLCS since the end of the WCG. But if we lose, I hope it’s Cards-Dodgers. I just want HFA against a team we’ve handled all season if we advance

I get the feeling both favored teams will get it done tonight.

Out of the four, I think I'd rather see Washington make the WS, because there's always something cool about watching a first-time participant. Not counting the old AL Senators, just talking about Montreal/the Nats. But would still suck seeing a division rival with a chance to win.

My personal pecking order would go:

Braves
Cardinals

Dodgers

Nats

I hate seeing Fowler in the leadoff. That has to be costing the Cardinals 1-2 runs a game.

I’m hoping Folty is as good as he was in game 2, but I expect more offense today from both teams. Facing the same lineup in back to back starts usually favors the offense

Honestly, I'm not expecting more offense. Braves got 3 runs against Flaherty.

Flaherty runs given up per start the last 2 months of the season: 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 2, 0, 0, 3, 1, 0, 0. And then 3 against the Braves.

Folty has been good the last two months as well, but the lineups should be more familiar now, and the nerves of a win or go home situation, I expect more runs tonight. It’ll probably be 1-0 just to spite me

I'm expecting a 3-2 type of game but it definitely could be 1-0.

Folty, Soroka, and Waino pitched the best games so far but Flaherty is the Cardinals Ace. I think it would be shocking if he didn't have a performance in that mix this series.

Aces struggle in the playoffs all the time. It wouldn’t be shocking.
