We dont have any money to pay those guys under the cap thanks to Braun but first and foremost i dont think Stewart will be playing at all so it wouldn't benefit us to have either one of the youngsters sit instead of developing in the AHL.

Hope you and your family are safe[/QUOTE]
So far so good, Thanks.
Well I see Stewart still on the rooster so I thought he may be staying. I'm really not happy with the way they are handling Myers.

I just checked every betting site and there is no line on the game. I cant imagine there would be no line because they are in Prague.

Yea it's crazy were at the wall again cap wise. Was hoping to keep it controlled so we could continue to build our younger core.

Hexy didn't time it right between the older players who make good money and the younger players starting to make good money at the same time, plus add in players like a third line LW that makes 7 million and Brauns almost 4 million and we are in cap hell again.

Yea there were def a couple head scratcher moments. I haven't yet seen a vet on this team play a full 40 minutes yet this pre season, it really boggles my mind how they don't lead by example a lot of the time

The fact that Stewart is still around is def because of Yeo, that's a rooster spot that should be going to Farabee or Myers to continue to grow. What upside does Stewart bring they don't?
Stewart isn't technically on the roster. He is still on his PTO, doesn't count towards roster count or cap.

I saw that thanks, I guess I saw he was in the line up and thought I personally would rather see Myers try to work through things and keep progressing, I guess if their looking at Stewart for injury reasons I can see that to.

AV confirms after practice that that is the lineup he'll use tomorrow (phrasing makes me think he won't be hesitant to mix them up if they don't look good though). Also Hart starts.

One way or another, let's do this thing!

Ive been asking for the leaders of this team to go and shake this team up but this board loves them and shot that idea down so now we live with what we got.

To be fair, my opinion has very little impact on what the Flyers do. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your perspective :pound:

I do wonder what Fletcher does in December if this team is well out of a playoff spot. Or, at least, I do now. My confidence has eroded big time with the preseason playing out as it has and the lineup structured the way that it is.

Reading some comments elsewhere, maybe the thinking is they already have Provorov, Sanehim, and Ghost out there trying to work through things and keep progressing. Hagg is a little more conservative/finished product so maybe that's what gives Hagg leverage over Myers.

I don't totally agree with that plan, I don't think Hagg is very good, but I guess I could see the logic in that. Would certainly fit their MO considering the Niskanen and Braun acquisitions. They're two stable, veteran, finished-product guys that can be the stabilizing rocks on defense.

I'll def not have any problem calling it out when I see it. Don't know what their waiting for at this point is their careers.

I'm not totally sold on Hagg either. He needs to be ten times more impressive than he's been. If not though leads to another bad situation as he is on a contract.
