The use of "our house" clearly references this site and "climate change" was a clear reference to his use of impeaching Snyder.

Dad, who do you get shit from? Do you even wonder why we have lost long term posters? The answer is simple, it's because they didn't like being dictated to.

i am not upset . with you or anyone else . i have other posters who dont see humor and cant abide by rules outlined on the board on politics . and yes we lost them because of politics as their own words indicate and i get face palmed by one of the main culprits

one couldnt say he wouldnt stop insulting people anymore because the didnt agree with his views . one said because people held views different then his he couldnt be friends and talk football with those he didnt respect anymore because of their politics . one couldnt convince someone that his view was right so he left and one thought one person should not be able to express his opinions or back up his claim and thought it was too " toxic

if i dont crack down on even the jokes , which i knew it was , then when a poster brings up politics on the board and i correct them then i inevitably get " why didnt you bust so and so when he did it ? "

now i trusted people to act like adults in the politics thread , some did , some didnt . the some who didnt ruined it for those who did

people say i dictate here . yes that is true but i came here from the old ESPN board where we had all kinds of toxic name calling , fake screen names , trolling , spamming thread hijacking , the works and mods not even controlling it

when we came here it was decided mutually that we didnt want that kind of board here and we set up rules to go by . over the years they have been adjusted . we have made a smack talk thread , we posted the rules , we have an off topic lounge to talk about other sports etc and we had a politics thread until the children couldnt function in it like adults and wanted name calling to go on , and when they didnt like your POV got mad and left the board

now you asked me who gave me shit ? i wouldnt give you names because that isnt fair but i can say i got it from all sides for having that thread , not having that thread whining that i closed it whining that i opened it and you can bet good money when i correct the next person on something it will all come full circle again . let someone insult someone and i dont do anything about it or dont go far enough in some ones eyes

i am sorry that i have posters that dont understand humor and such but the fact is i do and they use innocent jokes as a way to avoid being corrected when they do something they shouldnt , like name calling

so its just easier to nip it in the bud right away

That right there deserves to be fired. You know that your defense stinks on 3rd down,so give up the 3 points after a turnover its a win. This is par for the course for JG. He has been doing this every year. If we have a good defense I would say yes but not the defense that we have.

This guy and a lot of his teammates come from big time programs. They see the difference between a losing organization and a winning one. Unfortunately the lesson learned through others is not to speak out about the poor coaches that's leading them or your ass will get the Swearinger treatment.

Even this will be treated as some sort of slight towards the organization but one thing is certain, few if any will stay here beyond their rookie contracts, if things don't drastically change and soon!

Here is the 25 cent question. Lets say the entire coaching staff gets fired. Dan even fires Bruce.

Who is going to hire the new coach? Does Dan hire another Bruce/Vinny clone to aid him in finding the next coach? What responsible and good football coach is going to come here? I know a bunch of you are going to say O'Connell and maybe he will be good. Right now he is the OC of an 0-4 offense. They have way too many penalties, can't run the ball etc.

Is Dan going to decide who the new QB if they need one? Does he pick the next CB?

Who is going to change the culture? I can only think of one person that started to do that and he was fired after his first year. As much as I love and believe in Joe Gibbs I don't think he really changed the culture in his second stint. Marvin Lewis might have done it to some effect but he was gone after one year also.

This team has some players. They just can't get them to perform as a team. Sure they can use some players, what team can't? There is enough talent here to win 7-8 games and with some luck and good coaching maybe more.

I don't want to be Mr. Negative but I don't see things changing with Snyder as owner.
