Before the deadline, I think. Contending teams will be going all in and the Jags are honestly going nowhere. I can see that team being blown up and a whole new F.O. at the end of the season. They missed their opportunity by holding onto Bortles as long as they did. Even with a half decent QB, they might have had a shot at a SB. The window closes fast in this league.

Also, if they do trade him what can they realistically expect to get from him? I mean if Laremy Tunsil nets two 1st's and a 2nd then Ramsey should net more! But I obviously don't expect that much, since it's a huge haul. But they should still get a lot, no?

Not sure if Tunsil is a good barometer. It was the Texans, after all and they were desperate for a LT. The Minkah Fitzpatrick deal might be a better gauge.

Totally agree with the Texans part. But still, if they get market value, and I'm not saying that's a sure thing, but if they do then they should surely get at least two first-rounders, don't ya think?

I think any team that gives up two firsts is crazy. Maybe a first and third. Possibly a first in 20 and a second in 21 but that's still a steep price figuring on the monster contract they will have to give him. Mortgaging a lot of the future on a non QB is risky.

Agree. But it has been done a couple times lately. With Khalil Mack and Laremy Tunsil. Ramsey might not be as good as Mack, but he's better than Tunsil.

They should get a 1st +, but circumstances are a little different than Tunsil...I don't think MIA was really shopping Tunsil so to get him, HOU bucked up. Ramsey is trying to force his way out of JAX, so in a sense, he forcing the JAX to shop him. Still a highest bidder type situation, but the team realizes they must sign (Mr Brinks) him long term on top of the cost to acquire him.
