I don't like the move. The problem is Dwight isn't any good any more. He is carmelo basically...A guy past his time...I watched him play a few years ago and he gets pushed around, and isn't dominate, basically worthless
Plus that tranny thing would give me sec thoughts
This is shapping up to be a pretty funny season!
EVERY title involves a big helping of luck, not just dynasties. That's why it's a little silly to compare players based on rings and so on.Shit, you can say that for pretty much any title team, but especially about those teams who win multiple titles.
What if Kareem didn't want out of Milwaukee and get traded to the Lakers?
What if the rule that the Lakers had to be compensated with a draft pick in order for Gail Goodrich to be able to sign with the New Orleans Jazz didn't exist (it no longer does)?
Does Showtime happen?
What if the Lakers didn't have the Cavs pick in 1982 from a trade of Don Ford and a first round pick for Butch Lee and a first round pick, have the Cavs finish with the worst record in the league AND win a coin toss with the Clippers for the #1 pick allowing the Lakers to draft James Worthy?
Does Showtime last as long?
What if David Robinson doesn't get hurt, allowing the Spurs to draft Timmy?
Do they get 5 titles over the next 20 years?
And sonsHide your wife and daughters
I haven't seen the guy play in years, so I'll take your word for it. Maybe Vogel can work with him, he was pretty good with Hibbert.
Dwight's game isn't a problem. It is the other stuff.
He will be fine
You still think he has enough skills left to contribute meaningfully to a contender? I'm asking because I haven't seen him play in the past couple of years.
He just avg 16 and 11 or something like that the last time he played close to a full season so he has more than enough skills to contribute

meh, they'll STILL be in the playoffs...
the Cavs...
...not so much...
I think once the young guys get their legs under them the Cavs offense has a chance to be good. Their defense is going to be rough though. Young guys typically do not play good defense and their back court is going to be underized. The Cavs may be in the playoffs possibly next year
Depends how Love (who didn't play the entire year last year) and the new lottery pick play...Sexton has shown to be pretty good and TT could be moved for Hayward...I would say that would put us in the 7-8th spot, not like thats a good thing tho lol
Dwight back to the Lakers

At some point over the next year or two they really need to add a good wing defender or two and ideally - some kind of big man that can do everything maybe towards the top of the lotto.
but its early days. Itll be fun to watch this time figure out what it is.
