Not a fan of Dak think he's barely top 20 personally, but i think most consider him top 15 and the Cowboys homers(Jerry fits into this category) consider him top top 10. If you have a QB you think is a franchise player you have to pay him or tag him and doing the latter is just going to cost the team more money in the long term and cause a bunch of unnecessary drama. The next seasons tag number is what Dak should be expecting as an average, currently estimated at around 32 million for a QB.

Understood, but with beefing up the Oline and needing to sign Zeke and Amari (and yeah, imo, they need to sign Amari), can they afford all three?

On another note, the Saints were absolutely insane to sign Michael Thomas to that contract. Good fer him, but that was just crazy for the Saints.

Whatta ya think the "irritation" part means? It's a new one on me. :noidea::noidea::noidea:

AMARI COOPERWR, DALLAS COWBOYS

Maven Sports' Mike Fisher reports Amari Cooper has plantar fascia irritation.
Cooper's "heel" injury apparently was this plantar fascia problem. The Cowboys aren't concerned about the injury, but Cooper has missed a week of practice. It's reportedly a small irritation, something he should be able to manage throughout camp and the season. The Cowboys might take it slow with their No. 1 receiver during the preseason, but he should be fine before Week 1.

well, I dont think Dak is deserving of the upper echelon salaries. His performance just hasn't equated to that...however...
The past three years, he's guided a team to two division titles, and a 9-7 record the other year, and been paid a combined total of less than 3 million. Kase Keenum is making more than that to hold Haskins hand this year alone. A little "back pay" is likely a part of the negotiations

So...I've wonderin' what goin' on with this guy...sometimes silence isn't so golden.

Derrius Guice (ACL, hamstring) has still not been cleared to play in games.

Guice injured his hamstring last month while rehabbing his torn ACL, and that's complicated things. The Redskins aren't sure when Guice will be cleared, but they probably want to see him suit up in a preseason game if he can get ready. In the meantime, Guice is practicing with the team. He'll be competing for snaps with Adrian Peterson this season, assuming his health improves.

I've never had a concussion, but I feel for ya with that last part. Hopefully, you can bypass the bag. In any event, be prepared to be outta work for around 8 weeks.

Which, I've found out, isn't the worst thing in the world. ;)

I can dig that. In the past year, I've had an emergency appendectomy, a friggin' drain stuck in my belly, and now the colon surgery. I think I'm good for next year. :pound::pound::pound:

Hilton's stock is still heavily reliant on Luck's health - hot take, or just the cold hard truth?
