Yep flukes happen yet they've historically still been punished severely in the polls... unless you're OU.
USC loses to Stanford and it keeps them out.
Oregon drops a game to Stanford in 2001 and it keeps them out... behind a team that didn't even win their conference.
The list is long.
It should hurt OU a lot but I suspect with the running up of scores OU does voters will inexplicably be more forgiving of the loss against TT for OU than they are to losing against #1 due to 4 turnovers inside the 20 for Oregon.
Yes, I'm Jelly.
It's all good.
Think of who votes in the polls.
If there has been one thing constant in the votes lifetime its OU football always up there so don't be jelly just hope and pray that 50 years from now Oregon has that reputation.
lol @ OU for losing to the team that got ass pounded by Iowa State
OU will get stomped by Okie State, saving the Sooners from having to lose another BCS game
Pretty stupid talk for a fan of a team with more bowl losses than wins, unlike OU.

You ass clowns. Iowa State? Really?
Obviously Tech win over OU was a fluke. God stuck a lightening rod up Techs QBs ass and he was just perfect. What a horrible loss for OU and in Norman of all places.![]()

That was typical TTECH. Look great against a top ranked team one week, then lose to a shitty team the next week. We tried to tell you Sooners how their win over us in '08 on the last play of the game was a fluke after they were brutally raped in Norman, but you dumbasses insisted TTECH was a quality team.
look at recent history, like BCS bowl record.
OU 3-5 with losses to West Virginia and Boise State. you beat UConn last year to end your 5 BCS game skid, congrats
Ohio State 5-3 while facing superior competition
Superior competition?
OU
Florida State - ACC champ
Washington State - PAC 10 Champ
LSU - SEC Champ
USC - PAC 10 Champ
Florida - SEC Champ
Boise State - undefeated
West Virginia - BIG EAST Champ
UCONN - BIG EAST Champ
Ohio State
Texas A&M - BIG 12 Champ
Miami - BIG EAST Champ
KSU - BIG 12 Champ
ND - At Large
Florida - SEC Champ
LSU - SEC Champ
Texas - At Large
Oregon - PAC 10 Champ
Arkansas - At Large
OU played the Tebow Gators, the 1 loss Tigers, FSU and undefeated USC
OSU played tebowless gators, the 2 loss Tigers, undefeated Miami
OU has played much superior competition in the top end a.k.a bcs title games.
The other BCS games are of really no consequence. You played several at large teams while OU played either conference champs or Undefeated in fact 3 of your BCS games are against teams OU plays yearly and has a superior winning record during the BCS against them so yeah.
