So what did you do in Lebron's first 8 years in Cleveland? Why did he have to come to Miami to win?

Not much as when he got here they had no cap room. when they finally did he would not commit.

when he committed, Love said he wanted to come here. Imagine that.

This fool's really going to start using commitments from other players as an excuse. Cleveland has Lebron for 11 years and got 1 title out of someone who's at least a top 5 all-time NBA player. Miami had him for four years and got two titles out of him.

Lebron wouldn't commit because he knew he couldn't win with that garbage ass franchise.

Or with a commitment better players might have come....like Love did.

He came back for a few reasons.

1. Cavs won lotto with 1.7%, which meant Love, he and Kyrie.

2. Heat looked old vs Spurs

3. Nike wanted James back in Ohio

4. James hates/hated Gilbert because of the letter, but after meeting with him knew he could run the team for as long as he wanted to stay.

1. He was coming back no matter who they took in that draft. No other offers

2. Agreed. But there are 28 other teams he could have looked into

3. Nike wants Lebron in the media market that is Ohio?

4. Gilbert hates Lebron, but is smart enough to know if you have a will to win like him you bring him back for the team and city and not be petty

James held up everything, knowing 1000% he was gone.

Maybe because he knew the Cavs had a better chance to win? Kind of how it goes.

Team with Lebron is usually going for titles and cap strapped. Team without him can plan and try and get him back. It's now happened 3 times. And you don't get it?

His ultimate decision was to win a championship but he knew Kyrie had a big part in that. If they didn't have Kyrie he would probably have to recruit another star with Love, depending on cap not sure how that would have worked out.

Cavs only got Love, because they won the lottery with a 1.7% chance.

Without that, my guess is LeBron would have put much more effort into finding ways to improve Heat roster, seeing how that played out, and then made a decision.
