Thunder now have 8 extra 1st round picks and 4 pick swaps.

Got to turn that into a star player sooner or later IMO. Only way you can get another superstar in OKC. Via trade or draft

Three years left on his deal where he makes $38 mil this year, then $40+ the next 2 years. His last year's a PO where he's going to opt in. There's no way he's bought out.

That.

I doubt it. They may try and flip him next summer.....

If he doesn't want to play there.....he played there once before.....probably won't want to be a part of a rebuild at his age.

I get that they crushed it on draft picks but I just don't understand taking back Paul so they can play for an 8 seed and lose in the first round.

That team isn't beating any of the big dogs.

I don't see any way they get out from under the Paul deal

Yea I'm so confused by that. Makes no damn sense to me.

Also it helps that Russ and Harden know each other as they played together for a few years.

That's the only part of this whole thing that makes me think it could possibly work....maybe.

For everyone who was saying something needs to be done about players requesting a trade a year after signing a contract, I believe CP3 is the 3rd or 4th player who was traded a year after signing his contract. Work both ways.

Can't complain about players doing it when GMs are trading guys 1 year into a deal as well

Hate to break to you. But Kawhi's not exactly some phenomenon that has come out of nowhere all of a sudden. He's been on the radar as a top 10 player since 2015.

He's trying to prove himself as the best in the game, he needs at least one legit ring lead dog ring to do that.

Maybe they can get a fake blood clot diagnosis.
LeBron wont allow his #bananaboatbuddy to be treated like this.

The odds of the Thunder drafting a gem or two down the line are incredibly high.

Get a no trade clause or dont sign the contract.
