So, it's that time sportsfans! Time to start asking dumb keeper questions. This one is fer the Way Too Long League of Many Rules. We get to keep 1 player and you keep him in the round he was drafted. Can't keep a player fer 2 years and can't keep yer 1st rounder. There are roster requirements (3QB,5RB,5WR,2TE,2D and 2K). These requirements do make some of the keeper choices kinda weird (last year a team kept a D and another kept a TE not named Gronk, Kelce or Ertz). The other thing about this league is we go into Week 20 so there is a lot of jockeying around to get playoff players off of the wire towards the end of the regular season. I have done pretty good in this league (2 SB losses and missed the playoffs last year) so I'm looking to break out and win it all this year. Anyway, here are my choices (sorry about the wall of text). WW pick ups cost a 19th round pick.

Foles-19th round
Guise-19th round
Ballage-19th
Hunter Henry-19th
RAnderson-Either 12th or 19th (I'll explain)
LBell-Either 19th or not eligible

So the way I read the rules is that since Bell and Anderson were drafted last year even though I grabbed them off the wire I can keep them at the spot they were drafted (but my buddy is not sure of the rule and will get clarification). So I'm not counting on Bell (even though at 19 he would be a no brainer).
Right now I think I'm leaning towards Foles or Henry. IMO there are too many questions going on with the rest of those guise. It's taken me 3 years to figure QB's are hard to get in this league and I do see the value of him in the 19th. Anderson seems like good value in the 12th too.............thoughts? Here is my whole roster. Try not to laugh too hard. I had a good team IMO then got snake bit....................

19th round guise has the best pay out though... you kind of have to take that risk...
That was the plan all along until they decided to keep AP. Fortunately I have until September 3rd to see what is up with that situation. Too bad my buddy is gonna be wrong about Bell though. THAT would be a steal and a half.

yea, clearly bell would be the keep if he is a 19th... if that was the case, you wouldn't have made a thread about it...LOL...

the way I see it, RB depth is the most important thing in fantasy... and QB depth is the least important(since they are least likely to get hurt, and easiest to find on the waiver wire), so keeping Foles is pointless if you plan on him being your QB 2 or 3...

Hunter henry is fine, but again TE depth is pointless as the position is just so weak... if you throw Henry back you can probably get him in the 12th or so round...

Guise, although I agree about Peterson, he is the most likely Keeper option to give you top 5 round value... and you are drafting him to be your 5th RB... not to shabby....

Oh, I still would have started a thread, just the title would have been something like "Hehehe! Check out this 19th rounder"..............lol.

The thing about the QB is we all have to have 3...............they go super early (there will be 36 QB's drafted).

To me unless Bell becomes the no-brainer choice, it's Hunter Henry because the Chargers will actually make the playoffs and there is no chance in hell the Redskins will, so by the time Guice is "the guy" if he ever is this year it won't be until later in the season and I think at that point Henry will have the better value because he'll be playing past week 17. Plus, then you won't have to worry about drafting another tight end early and you can focus on the other positions. That's the same reason I wouldn't entertain Robby Anderson, because there's also no chance the Jets make the playoffs.

forgot this was the way too long league(as I skimmed over that)... Not sure if that changes my advice or not... But cant argue with your reasoning...

and I'd bet every penny that I own that Hunter Henry get drafted before the 12th round (as long as he's healthy, of course)

what are you smoking @MilkSpiller22 !!!

another vote for the Hunter if you can't retain Bell at free agent status.

Funny thing is the first 2 seasons (good) I just tried to draft a good team first and worry about playoffs second. Last year I tried to draft more in the lines of playoffs and ended up shitty. This year I plan (and we all know how a plan in FF usually works out) to stick to drafting the best possible team and let the playoff chips fall where they may.........

12th sounded good as it is a nice number... But you are right he would go earlier... But not too much earlier... and if you are keeping him, you are not planning on having him be your TE1, or even if you are, you will likely draft another high potential TE...

Really overall, my point is that all these guys are either bench guys or players you shouldn't feel confident starting... Why not take the one that if things work out, then he can help the team the most...

I think that is Guise... But I wont argue(too much) a Henry Support...

While I agree with this during the draft, I think with your keeper just because you have more time to think it over you can take the playoffs into consideration. I can't even imagine trying to use that as a factor while doing a draft. There is way too much other shit going on so I agree totally to just draft the best team possible and worry about the playoffs later.

yup, Guice or Henry would be my top choices. But feel the same as Bandit here, the playoff implications should weigh in more on your keeper decision than your draft day decisions, which is why I like Henry for this league.

Kelce, Ertz still tops on my TE board, but I'd have to downgrade Kittle and Engram in this format since they'll be playing golf in January. Hunter and Ebron would get bumps up for me.

I'm very high on Foles and Henry but how the hell can you keep those positions when you can keep a RB that the team drafted to be the guy?

You would probably get Guice as your keeper for next year too in most scenarios.

Why are we so scared of Peterson? He was supposed to be washed up and then the skins made him useful one last time. Imagine what they'll do with their real starter.

that's exactly why we are nervous... nobody doubts that at one point of the season Guise will be the number one...

But guise being the future, and coming off a missed season, the skins will likely gradually use him more and more...

and with Peterson being a football grandfather, the skins wont fear using him to death... they have nothing to lose...

Let's not forget AP looked pretty damn good until the OLine went to shit with injuries. He did get scripted out of a few early games but still went over 1200 yards and 8 TD's. Shit, maybe I should keep him (I have him fer a 10th........lol).

Honestly would not be surprised to see Kittle in the playoffs. If that team stays healthy they will score points.

Not in a keeper league so not sure I should be giving advice. Think Guice and Henry our the 2 to choose from. Think I'd go hunter, because
A) Should start from the beginning of the season, not sure that's the case with Guice, although he might.
B) Chargers may make the playoffs, don't see the Redskins making the playoffs.

With both players their is plenty ???? IMO both could do well, both could suck.
