Bell will by far. He has much to prove and will be the focal point of the Jets offense.

I'll say Connor based on the Oline. But honestly, I have no clue nor do I really care.
yeah I said Conner because of supporting cast & I believe the Steelers offense in general will be getting a lot more yards than the Jets.
Against the jets the defense will pretty much be aiming for Bell.
Against the Steelers they cant just tee off on Conner, or the other talents on offense will make them pay.

I voted Bell, but I'm not sure about "by far" @Balljim55 . With the Steelers drafting Snell Jr and having Samuels back, Conner is probably going to max out around 250 carries and about 60 targets. So he might have a higher per carry avg. but Bell is going to be around 300 carries and he could have 80-90 targets on the Jets.

I've made multiple posts how I think the Jets signing was absolutely stupid and Bell will do fuck all in NY behind a far shittier O-LINE, without a HOF QB... and 1 HOF WR and another one that seems to be in the making.. so I gotta honor those posts and vote Conner (I would regardless given the timing of this thread).

So I'll go with the guy that is running behind a top 5 OL, with a HOF QB, and a WR that seems to be a HOFer in the making....

I think Bell will bust big time in New York...

2018 Pittsburgh 90.1 yards per game (31st)
2018 New York 101.4 yards per game (26th)

Pitsburgh fans will be watching a football team.
Jets will be paying $11 a beer to watch Leveon Bell run.

Statistically Bell will have a better year.....

I have to say Bell if he stays healthy. This is another one of those first year situations and the Jets have made some noticeable offseason upgrades. Robby Anderson has shown flashes also and with a viable slot like Crowder that should open things up for him in the deep passing game.

That Jet's O-Line will not be able to provide the time needed for his stutter step running style. So I think Connor

Conner. Bell’s going to be rusty & running behind an inferior O-line. I’m guessing he’ll struggle & deal with injuries all year.

But he’ll still blame it on “not getting the right opportunities” or “not using me to my strengths”. :rolleyes2:

I wouldn't call it that at all. I call it elite vision. By far the best vision in the game today IMO and that is exactly what you need if the line isn't great and the holes aren't there.

Bell is going to be the one who gets all of the attention. On the Steelers you still have Roethlisberger, Juju, and company to deal with. The Jets don't really have anyone except Bell which means opposing defenses will stack the box or make sure someone has him covered in a passing scenario. Bell is a great player but I doubt his stats will be comparable unless the Jets offense makes a giant leap forward.

IMO Bell will be like Steven Jackson on the Rams.

They will both suck.

Neither team is making the playoffs.

True, I think we're both saying Bell will get more touches...I think considerably more touches so even with less production per touch, (keeping in mind he was not a hi ypc guy in PIT) he probably will out gross Connor.

I'm rarely afraid to be wrong on such things...this one certainly would not bother me much at all if I was wrong....lol

The Jets are an easy team to dismiss for playoff contention. The Steelers? They'll be right there in the mix without Brown.
