Giannis was also voted "the most desired player" during the league's GMs voting...

I guess what makes Giannis so unique, is his ability to play all five positions in the roster of any team in the NBA...

I guess by the time he adds reliable long shooting in his game (which he is getting there), he will be considered the "best player ever" in the game's history.

I little presumptuous and perhaps overstated, but I did say he could get there, but wasn't there yet.

my own conclusion is that guys tend to get hurt more as they get older and that they dont get healthier as they get older.

The number of games played speaks for itself.

Also, you were making the opposite argument about 3-4 years ago re: Kyrie when he played in 71 and 75 games after playing in 51 and 59 his first 2 years and everyone here was calling him injury prone.

lol yah and i was fucking wrong- when i said that his worst injuries were still in his future! lol....the wear and tear led to 2 major knee surgeries. Thanks for proving my point.

Didn't prove your point. You said his issues were a thing of the past. Nice try though.

i Did say i thought his issues were a thing of the past and at the time i believed it....then he had a major knee surgery and missed the Finals and the first few months of the Cavs season--- and then he had another major knee surgery and missed a few months and the ENTIRE playoffs with the Celtics! LOL I mean talk about a shit example! wtf....

1. Giannis
2. Harden

Exactly. All that I've said is that he has played in more games than he did in his first 3 seasons.

Just like with Kyrie, after struggling with injuries his first 4 years, he's had 3 pretty much injury free seasons and played in more games.

As I said, maybe he just needed time for his body to adjust. Maybe he will have injury issues in the future or maybe they'll start back up again this season.

And it's not a shit example. You said yourself that you believed Kyrie was past his injury issues. Then more information, him getting injured again, changed your opinion. Just like getting more info changed mine.

what are you talking about? thats not like Kyrie at all--- Kyrie graduated from minor injuries to 2 major injuries. I gotta say Ihave no clue where you are going with this. Kyrie Irving is about the worst example you could possibly use.

I gotta say- I thought he would grow out of it- just as you said i said---- but the exact opposite is what actually happened-- he went from having nagging injuries to having 2 significant major injuries.

using Kyrie as an example of a guy that got healthier with age after having early issues is like the worst example possible. lol.....its like using OJ Simpson as a guy that got saner and more mentally coherent with age.

if you are using Kyrie as an example for Davis- that means Davis has some Shaun Livingston-like knee injuries in his future. lol

lol....yah.....i am 100% sure this would sitll be your opinion if Davis was still a Pelican. Cmon man thats from 2 months ago......

hey....whatever floats your boat.

That thread was from about 6 weeks ago and a ton of people replied.

I went through it, and the consensus top 5 to me seemed to be:

1. Durant
2. Giannis
3. Curry
4. LeBron
5. Harden

the names that showed up the most beside those 5 were Kawhi and Westbrook.

Davis and Embiid were pretty even after that it seemed-- which to me makes sense.

Plenty of people had Giannis as their #1 overall. I didnt see one person have Davis in their top 4
Things do change. Kawhi has now moved up sharply for obvious reasons. Also note there's no way to actually scientifically rank these guys. It's all just perception and personal preference. There's a list of 6-7 superduper players all of whom can make a case as best in the league.

I didn't use Kyrie as an example of someone getting healthier. I used him as an example of how disingenuous you are and how you defended him when others were saying he was injury prone.

Again, I don't know what's going to happen with AD and have never claimed that he will be healthier going forward. I simply said that his injury history isn't as bad as I thought and that information helped to change my opinion.

It's really that simple.

My top

lol what changed in the last 6 weeks? I can think of one BIG thing. his team. if you can show me something different I would be stunned.

Kawhi (and company) beat the (depleted) Warriors for one. He looks like the best player in the league right now.

I totally agree.... Thats why i kind of like what Ssteelers Pride did.....he took a signifacnt amount of posts and aggregated them in that top 5 list.

and i also agree with you---- Kawhi has done a lot in the last 5-6 weeks to improve his stock.

I dont know what Davis has done in the last 5-6 weeks to improve his stock. Thats why its just so transparent. Shit if AD was in the playoffs and just won Finals MVP id move him up to. The fact is he has been sitting on his ass whining for the last 5 months.

Hard for me to move upa guy who--- A. quit on his team B. beged off not playing because he was afraid to get hurt and C. has never showed much of anything.

I just watched Damian Lillard with a very mediocre supporting cast get to a Conference Final in the West.

Sure but when you've been posting like you do for as long as you have, it's all just agendas. We all like players a little more when they are on our team, that's fandom. And you shit on the Lakers and Heat and Wizards regularly so AD to the Lakers brings out lots of "AD is crap" posts from you.

AD to the Lakers was a huge home run win right now with LeBron swing for the fences. It was a move the Lakers had to make, one that is very fun for all NBA fans, and could very well give your boy LeBron a title on a third team and his strongest claim yet to GOAT. He's already GOAT as player/GM, and WAY better than Jordan as GM.

So just stop waving your dick around and enjoy the show.

i show them post from 6 weeks ago where AD is not in my top 5- and then they continue saying the same shit about my "agenda". And Im the dick? you can eat one if thats the case

its just funny....I am attacked for "shitting on Davis"--- and that I only dont have him in my top 5 because I am a "Lakers hater with an agenda".

Acutal Facts
-I think DAvis is amazing and prob the 8th or 9th best player in the league.
-6 weeks ago when he was a Pelican and there were rumors that Benson would never trade him to the Lakers i did not have him in my top 5.

But- I have an agenda and shitting on him.

The facts just show something different. You are just an emotional little girl that thinks hes the social justice warrior of the thread with an unhealthy obsession.

as i said above. Eat a dick.
