Malzahn is about to be fired. I take a look at the ease of recruiting and talent. It’s easier to get quality talent at Michigan than Northwestern but Fitzgerald has done fairly well with coaching people up. Jimbo hasn’t shown that at all and FSU was in shambles when he left.
Looking at straight results isn’t apples to apples since it’s different conferences and the ACC is trash outside of Clemson.
Those are fair points. But it's hard to diminish a championship. As to your last point, that's why I'm inclined to include a guy like Mullen. Miss State is probably the worst job in the SECW. And he got them on the doorstep of the CFP. That'd be like of someone took IU or Rutgers to that point. And he did a great job turning Florida around after taking over that dumpster fire.
