Truthfully, he isn’t wrong. The SEC and ACC are taking advantage of that extra home G5 game. It’s pretty smart if you think about it.

Edit, damnit he wants the FCS game in November. Really don’t see the issue, you’re going to play them regardless. Whether it’s week 1 or week 11 it doesn’t really matter.

It fvcks the fans over bigly. I'd rather see the PAC not make the CFP then to see that conference cut off its testicles and water down the game.

Well I’m with not playing them at all. But that has to be a nation wide rule, not just a certain conference rule. Which I doubt will ever happen.

Yeah it does. It gives you an extra bye week. You don't need a bye week at the start of the season but towards
the end.

Leagues also base their schedules around its teams OOC games. That pretty much forces the league to give you
an open date somewhere in the middle of the season.

The problem for the PAC12 is, there just aren't as many FCS schools out West as there is in the East. Plus they end
their season a week before FBS to make room for their first round playoff games. It'll be hard trying to find
FCS schools, out west to ply in November and to get one from the East you'd have to guarantee them over a
million to make the trip.

It's not going to happen until the ACC & SEC grow a set and start playing their own conference members.

at this point there’s no negative to doing that. the SEC has proved time after time they can schedule citadel, alabama a&m etc at end of season and not get docked for it. throw in some gifted rankings to a south carolina, vanderbilt, arkansas and committee says well that team was ranked back in week 2.

The problem is the ACC & SEC are on a pathetic no testicle 12 year cross division rotation. I doubt half the fans of teams in those conferences can even name their fellow conference members.

There was more to that article in the OP than just scheduling late season cupcakes.

Of course we can name everybody in our league. We know who is in the ACC and we know who is in the SEC.
Our problem is believing that P5 football is actually played on the West Coast. (Even if only by name)

Why do southern teams avoid playing their own conference members?

Stop being a no ball pussy and answer the fvcking question.

I did. I used what is known as "reverse questioning technique." Get a management job and I'll explain how to
use it.

BTW...Why is the PAC12 boycotting the Playoffs?

I think he may not be understanding his fan base. From what I understand, the average PAC 12 fan ain't going to show up to a crappy OOC game like SEC fans will....regardless of where it is on the schedule. Hell, a lot of 'em don't even want to show up for many conferences games. Me thinks he'd have better luck with a bye week prior to the Utah game he used as an example.

This ^^ ... that motherfvcker needs to shut his pie hole or move back east where he came from. No way in hell is the PAC going to fvck over its fans by cutting off its nutsack.

They still have to suit up and play. A bye week you don’t have to play. Regardless of the bye week mentality, it actually is very smart to do this if you can get away with it. The SEC and some ACC teams still are able to get this so the FCS ending a week early shouldn’t matter. It’s getting them to come west and paying them for it is what will matter.

I understand why power Conference teams schedule weak non-conference schedules. The conference schedule is brutal enough. Obviously as a fan I would prefer to see huge matchups every week but I understand why they don't
