Bellotti? Where? I've always liked Mike Bellotti since the time he called Bob Stoops the evening of the game at UO when Oklahoma got hosed by two HORRIBLE callls that cost them the game. Bellotti apologized and that was classy.

Either coach could do wonders at UCLA. But Arizona is a hell hole in a crappy state smack dab in the center of a desert. I'd hate to see either one of those guys get marooned in that hot, miserable SOB.

Stoops did a great job building up Arizona, pieces are now in place for that program to stay at a high level. Just need the right coach.

Arizona has sucked for years. They lost to OREGON STATE this year! The program is pathetic. Mike Stoops was a helluva assistant coach at OU but he didn't win enough when he became a head coach. And a lot of those losses were really ugly. I'd coach damn near any place before I would let myself get stuck at Arizona.

Arizona had some talent for a few years but they're already falling backwards

next year Arizona will be back as the doormat of the Pac-12

I think they fired Stoops to attempt to get a new name in there as a desparate attempt to not fade to the bottom of the Pac-12 again.

I don't see Leach getting a job at an AQ school, none of them are willing to be bashed by ESPN.

I hated Stoops. but give the guy some credit for taking a gutter of a team/program and giving them some decent years. They sucked this year because they are extremely young. If they can get the right guy for the job ASAP then I dont see Arizona hanging in the bottom of the Pac-12 South for long.
