He was worthless for us, he started taking roids after we traded him, and we never did get payback for that shit hit pulled in Turner Field when he was a Giant. That motherfucker can't beat us. Did Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz make Mazzone, or the other way around? Leo wasn't that impressive with the Orioles.

We need to go for broke for the Astros pitching coach. That dude made a HOF pitcher pitch the best he ever has in his mid/late 30's, made a guy that was decent with the Pirates become dominant after going to the league with a DH, and turned Charlie fucking Morton into an elite pitcher in his mid 30's after a decade of mediocrity elsewhere.

Mazzone played a huge roll in the making of Glavine & Smoltz....& Maddox was much better as a Brave than he was as a Cub.

If the Mets fire Mickey Calloway we need to hire that Mother fucker immediately as pitching coach. He had that 2016 Indians staff pitching unreal

Every time the Braves play the Pirates, I’m reminded of a funny story.

Went to a Pirates vs Braves double header in ‘91. In game 1, Gary Redus was in left. There was this full fledged idiot sitting on the row in front of us (we sat in left). The entire game, literally hundreds of times, he yells, “REDUS! REDUS! THE UNBORN FETUS!!” He did it so much that Redus even glared up at him a few times.

Fast forward to game 2 of the double header. Bonds is in left. I’m guessing the idiot had so much to drink that he didn’t pay attention. Whole damn game (game 2), “REDUS! REDUS! THE UNBORN FETUS!!”

All total I bet I heard it 500 times that day. Now when the Braves play the Pirates, still to this day, I find myself saying it.
