should be

this poll is a major upgrade to the jokes that the BCS does count.

the only things I don't like are Michigan State is overrated again. I think they prove that we(Boise State) need to say screw it with playing actual good teams and just play overrated jokes like Notre Dame and Michigan instead and we'd be set every year.

also why did Illinois drop more than Georgia Tech???

a loss to Ohio State even a down one>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>loss to Virginia

plus Illinois beat Arizona State.

I dropped Illinois and GT a lot, can't remember who went further. Doesn't really matter though, losing to either UVA or OSU this year isn't a good omen for teams that were 6-0 last week. I don't know how I left Penn State off my ballot...

you guys played Georgia this year and they're getting votes even though they havent beaten anyone. Several teams would be 4-2 with their schedule.

How many total votes were there, just curious.

17, sir

all you have to do is add up the first place votes to find that out

or are you talking about votes total??

that would be 425 as the maximum number of votes that a team could have

LSU was 5 short

two people had them 2nd one person had them 4th.

they have some decent wins, not great but decent wins. certainly better than some of the jokes ahead of them in the AP and Coaches.

but absolutely no one wants to give us credit for beating them

once we beat them it's suddenly "Georgia sucks"

I was skeptical of Illinois to begin with. Also, clemson has actually beat someone

Man, this sucks. Stupid Oregon State being terrible this year. If they'd been any good, the Badgers might have a shot at controlling their own destiny. As is, gotta hope Oklahoma A or B drops a game and then the other one loses in the head-to-head. That or we need to start winning by 100 points.

Well, actually, we still have the Minnesota game, so the 100 point thing is a possibility...

There are still a lot of games left, they just need to keep winning.

they like us need a lot to happen

now if Georgia were to shock the world and win the SEC that would boost our chances big time, that would eliminate both SEC west teams because one lost to the other and then the one that won lost to Georgia in the SEC championship. that would leave things down to us, Wisconsin and Stanford

assuming one of the Oklahoma's went unbeaten

who goes??

Boise State with a win over the SEC champion

Wisconsin with a win over Nebraska

Stanford with a win over Oregon

there will likely be nothing much else on any of these team's resumes except for wins over bowl teams.

All the top teams have games they can lose except for Boise (who might still lose but shouldnt).
Stanford plays Oregon, Southern Cal, and Notre Dame
LSU plays Auburn, Arkansas and Bama
Alabama plays Arkansas and LSU
Oklahoma has Texas Tech, K-State, TAMU, Baylor and Ok State
OK State has Missouri, Baylor, K-State, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma
Wisconsin has Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois, and Penn State.

All Wisconsin needs to worry about is winning out. All of these teams have games they could still lose. IF all of those teams lose out Wisconsin might get left out, but that isnt something that anybody should be worrying about right now.

I think what you listed above may show that the Big 12 has surpassed the SEC now.
