Seriously, I've been through 4 of 'em. Definitely no bueno! I will tell you that we get at least a 1-week warning from the National Weather Service when a hurricane is definitely going pass by our area. You don't get that when a tornado hits. So when we get the warning, it's our fault if we stick around and get hurt. It's common practice for people in the path of a hurricane to boogie over to the opposite coast and party down while they hope their houses are still there when they go back.

Why are women like a hurricane? Because they huff & puff when they come, and they take the house and car when they go! There's some truth to that!

I am hearing that Kevin Correia finally had a decent outing yesterday. I see he went 5 innings with 1 ER, 1 Walk and 1 K. Sounds like he must have had his ground ball pitches working for him. He will fit right in with the other "pitch to contact" pitchers we have seen for years with the Twins.

It would be nice to finally see a guy come around who was a legit strikeout guy. The Twins have had good defense the past few years but sometimes you just never know what will happen once they get their bat on the ball. We have seen it go south fast way too many times.

Not too much because I'm not a basketball fan, but some of my favorite hang-outs are very near FGCU, and a lot of the bartenders & waitresses are students there and I've gotten to know many of them. Now they are bending my ears backwards about their team. What the heck....gotta root for the Eagles(??) even though I don't know any of their players names.

I did get to watch Chris Sale pitch a few times in his senior year there, then the White Sox grabbed him and now he's a star. Might have been 30-40 people at the games. Wooden bleachers behind home-plate, that's it.

This is a little school, maybe 10-yrs old. If you were a kid from Minny or No. Dak. and you got to go to school here you'd think you died and went to Heaven. It's that nice down here in the Winter. It's projected to keep growing and already has a club hockey team. Speaking of hockey, the Gophers are on TV at 2:00 this afternoon, my time. I'm skipping the final Twins game to stay home and watch it. That's my hot-button this time of the year.

Well, jrs took the bait and now everyone knows what he really looks like. To cut to the chase I'll solve the rest of the mystery. PC is the smartest guy on all the sites I go on. So smart he could be a Doctor, and he is! He's the witch-doctor on my right. Apparently, jrs musta' peed him off a while back so PC shrunk his head. Trouble is, PC can't remember how to reverse it. Definitely no bueno!

Btw - I'm rolling a great big "bomber" for us to enjoy!

well, that's it for Spring Training 2013. The Twins go out a winner w/o using Mauer, Morneau & Hicks, to name a few. I saw the box score and it looks like Gardy did his customary gesture of letting some of the guys still at camp get at least one AB in a ST game as recognition for coming to camp.

I skipped the game to watch the Gopher hockey team tank to Yale?? What a debacle! I'm so frustrated that I'd sock my beautiful Lena right in the nose but her sumptuous bosom sticks out farther than my arms reach, so that's out. The cat must've got wind of my rage cuz it's in hiding now. My frustration is now a bigger threat to the World that No. Korea sending a-bombs over here in Ramen noodles, or however it is they plan to do it. (Btw- I thought Dennis Rodman had smoothed things out for us??)

Tell your brother in law from me, that the Sioux Program is twice as potent as the Gophers have ever been. I'd love to see the Sioux win the National Championship again! As I write this the Sioux are leading surprising Yale 1-0 with 10 mintes, or so to go. GO SIOUX!!

Yeah, he's a Gopher fan all the way. I don't follow hockey much but it's fun to watch at times. Really good in person.
