I just think mcluken is overrated, i think in sj and edm he had more talent and couldnt bring it together. So basically taking spoiled talent and making them care/compete is not his wheelhouse

We shall see. I guess the main positive is that unlike Desjardins, McLellan comes in early and can mold things the way he wants to. Gets a say in draft picks, offseason, etc.

So regardless of who was chosen, it's probably a good thing that it was decided earlier rather than later.

I'll be optimistic. I was wrong about Sutter when he originally came over. I thought it would be more of the same (Couldn't score before, and then went and got Sutter). But we also traded for Carter at the same time. But Sutter went down and got King and Nolan, so that was a nice move. Maybe McLellan can bring eyes to something that's been more stagnant.

Walt McLellan was 434-282-90 with the Sharks & Oilers. Two teams that tried to stack players that haven't had any success in playoff hockey. (Sutter 425-225-147)

I just think mcluken is overrated

We'll see how Walt does, because he is our Coach

Ya, of course i know he is the kings coach...i knew a month ago he would be. I hope he brings success but i can be skeptical about it currently.

Sure you can post his regular season record and ignore his sterling 37-38 record in the post season with stacked teams.

So they actually won the OHL title, and will now move to the Memorial Cup (Sounds like Final 4 basically)

Also the team’s general manager, Burnett made a number of big moves — including acquiring Suzuki and defenceman Sean Durzi from the Owen Sound Attack in January — with an eye towards a long playoff run.

"The way we got here, the road we took … it’s unbelievable," said Durzi, who finished with two assists.

Durzi is the other dude we got for Muzzin, along with Grundstrom and the 1st round pick.

Although, from reading the article, the Ottawa 67's had won a record 14 games (They were 14-0 in the Playoffs), including Games 1 and 2 against Guelph, until their goalie got hurt with a high-ankle sprain, and then Guelph won 4 straight. Guelph came back from 0-3 down, then 1-3, and then 0-2 in three straight series'.

I have no idea what is going on with the NHL and the Sharks this post season but it sure seems like they are doing everything they can to advance them.

Round 1 you have the BS 5 Minute Major in game 7 that let the Sharks come back and take that series.

then in Round 2 you have the goal that was overturned for "offsides" after a review that was a line change that had no barring on the play at all that would have tied the game in Game 7.

Now last night you have the Sharks winning in game 3 OT on a blatant hand pass in the offensive zone.

I have never seen a team get so many bad calls go their way in one post season.

The non-call on the hand pass was probably the worst I've ever seen in over 40 years of watching hockey.

Sent an email to the Sharks' front office requesting that they immediately disqualify the team from the playoffs, as this is a complete disgrace to the NHL community and society in general. Waiting for a reply from them.

It was easily the worst call in the combined history of all sports.

The Sharks will lose the next 3 games and be eliminated by St. Louis.

never thought id see a sharks fan come here to troll.

Honestly, I don't care at all its the Sharks, it could be the Blue Jackets for all I care. The point is still the same, ive never seen so many bad calls go for a team in one playoff series.

Why do you automatically assume that it's trolling? Just stating the facts as a Sharks' fan, it was an awful call that should have been able to be reviewed by replay in Toronto and quickly overturned. If the Kings had benefited from a call like that, I'm sure you would also be upset and looking for recourse.

I would rather have the Sharks be down 2-1 in this series than have all of the media/public backlash coming to the team right now.

Horrible call on the hand pass goal, this series could literally be over right now but SJ gets an extra shot to stave off elimination.

Either way I'll be happy in this series since I can't stand St. Louis and I don't want to see SJ get a Cup, but whoever wins is going to get steamrolled by Boston.

The world will be a good place once again with no Cups for the Sharks or Blues.

This is how I feel about Saints fans for that NFC Championship game. Maybe don't blow a 13-0 lead. They also let Rams come all the way down and score on their last possession to tie it. And had ball first in OT (In which Brees threw a pick). But they can't get past a blown interference call.

I argue with Blues fans over this. Maybe don't give up the tying goal with under a minute to play? And even if that goal doesn't go in, it's still tied in OT, so it could still go either way. For the Knights, maybe don't give up 4 goals on a PK. This was without Pavelski too. Fortunate calls, but it goes like that.

Overall, call was bad in Game 3, but I am still super jaded from the entire Blues fan base. Most, entitled, yet never done shit franchise I've ever encountered. Felt amazing to hand it to them in 2012 and 2013. I will never get past that restaurant they have in downtown in St. Louis with a silhouette of the Stanley Cup set alongside other championship trophies, and inside it it says "Coming Soon". Been there for at least 10 years now (Maybe 30. Who knows?).
