Tsitsipas couldn't get into Djokovic's service games, but he's still good enough that on any day, he can challenge the the top players.

Let's compare Zverev results to what he did last year at this point

Aussie Open- 3rd round in 2018 and 4th this year
Mexico- Semi finals in 2018 and made it to the finals this year
Indian Wells- 2nd round in 2018 and 3rd round this year
Miami- Finals in 2018 and 2nd round this year
Played a tournament he didn't last year in Morocco. Made it to the 2nd round which automatically helps him as he had no point to defend from last year.
Monte Carlo-Semi finals in 2018 and 3rd round this year.
Germany- Won the title in 2018 and QF this year.
Barcelona- DNP in 2018 and 2nd round this year. Another tourney which doesn't hurt as he had no points to defend
Madrid- Won the title in 2018 and QF this year.
Rome- Made the finals and 2nd round this year.

So to sum it up, after Indian Wells, he has been shit for the most part but up until Indian Wells, he was actually performing better compared to last year in the first 3 months. Him playing in 2 tournaments he didn't play last year kinda helps him but if he keeps performing worse than he did last year for the rest of season then he'll def not be a top 10 player at the end of year.

Aren’t you just proving my point how shitty and un-top5 he has been with this ledger of a post?? Lol

Kinda. I never said he was.

Trying to have you understand why he didn't fall out just yet.

They don't pick and choose who is a top 5 player. You get to top 5 by having great results in ATP 1000/GS events. Not hard to understand but with the way he's struggling now at those events, he won't be top 5 much longer

That’s why the ranking system is shit. That’s also the reason why Rafa was able to stay top two for the longest time. That and the lopsided number of clay masters events And clay events in general.

Pretty sure there are more hard court master events than clay master events

Nick Kyrgios with the Bobby Knight meltdown today. I hope he enjoys his vacation from playing tennis.

There's 6 hardcourt masters too, and he does well at those too.

Fed won the 2nd set.

Just saw that. I had been checking the scores online.

Turned on the TV now, and saw they're starting the 3rd set.

FED served rotten that entire 3rd set.

Down 2 match points in the 3rd set tiebreaker, and he pulls out the win in the tiebreaker.

This is why he entered Italy. For moments like these.

I don't know if he's going to win the tourney, but it's a great feeling when to beat a top player, who had also had some recent wins against him, at a Masters 1000 tournament.

Just have to say this. Grandpa Fed has played seven more years after one of his main and contemporary (younger) rivals Roddick retired, has won three slams since as well as a few more masters events and today he outlasted two younger rivals playing two matches in the same day. This guy is an enigma.

I guess I spoke too soon. Better this than retire on court.

They need to just ban him permanently and be done. He's a fucking embarrassment on multiple levels .
