Cody and Neville both left WWE under somewhat similar circumstances. Sasha just turned 27 and is arguably one of the 5 biggest female stars in the company despite inconsistent booking. If she's a FA that's a no-brainer signing for AEW.

She is a princess who throws temper tantrums when she isn't getting her way.

If I had a promotion, I would not touch her with a 50 foot pole because of that attitude

And yet just look at her injury history, outside of Alexa Bliss' concussion Sasha seems to be the most injury prone female they have. While yes AEW could sign her I have no doubt they would you have to wonder if A, how long she'll be around due to all the risks she takes and injuries she's suffered and B, how long until she throws another temper tantrum when things don't go her way.

Here's a quote from a wrestling journalist on Sasha, and keep in mind this was back in September when she had to pull out of the Mixed Match Challenge due to another injury, and this was before the one she suffered once again after the Royal Rumble and before EC.

Sasha Banks is regarded by many as one of the top female Superstars in the WWE today--however, The Boss' hard-hitting style of wrestling has often come under the lens of criticism owing to said style carrying a high-risk of injuries with it.

Banks has dealt with several injuries over the course of her career, and has become quite notorious for taking dangerous bumps, especially with regard to her neck.

Thankfully, Banks' high wrestling acumen has--on the large majority of occasions--come to her rescue even in the most high-risk in-ring scenarios.

AEW is rumored to have a much lighter schedule which could be a blessing for injury prone wrestlers.

The Charlottes, Romans and Drew McIntyres of the world , the absolute prototypical WWE stars, aren't going anytime soon.

Assuming the reports are true Sasha is someone who makes a lot of sense in AEW. She's a top star but one the WWE has been reluctant to push to the next level.

I haven't heard much on Sasha being difficult to work with in the past. She's generally seems well liked by her coworkers.

When she's not ending Paige's career you mean?

I thought Paige had spinal stenosis? That shit develops over time. It's no one hit. It's a series of hits after years and years that wears you down to the point where one bad bump could paralyze you.

The more I hear about this. The more it looks bad for Bailey and even worse for Banks.

I get losing the titles sucks but it is no reason to throw a hissy fit for

I don't believe it. It's too ridiculous. I think WWE coordinated some people to feed the dirt sheets some bullshit, which they've been known to do. Bruce Pritchard would talk about it on his podcasts from time to time

Regardless, the Rat (SB) was wreckless with the kick that fucked her up.

Never understood why Brie Bella and Nia Jax got so much heat but Sasha ends the career of the best and most over female star at the time and no biggie.

Are we blaming Rollins for ending Sting's career?

Really.

Read the tweets I posted.

Does that sound like a person who is good to work with

Yes it does. If I was starting a company I would want ambitious wrestlers who care about their characters and their work.

Does either Baley or Sasha have a bad reputation in the lockerroon? Not that I've heard so if it's a case of a wrestlers wanting to be booked and treated like the stars they deserve to be then I don't have an issue with it

This could be true and is always a possibility.

But in this instance I don't get the incentive for WWE to want it out there that wrestlers want to leave.

The Raw after wrestlemania was down 25 percent in ratings and a new competitor is opening down the street. If WWE wants to make this a new storyline device that a lot of their wrestlers are disgruntled and want out it needs a really good payoff.

In sports we call people like that being a locker-room cancer.

25 percent compared to what? Last years Raw after WM? If so that's a misleading narrative you're pushing there. Monday's audience was the highest for Raw of the year and the highest since the 8/20/2018 edition, and that audience barely beat this one. The last time Raw was consistently higher rated than the one on Monday you'd have to go all the way back to the Raw's after WM last year and even that only lasted a few weeks.

Also if you're going to be fair you'd have to mention that Raw went up against the NCAA Men's final which did 19.630 million viewers for CBS. Also The night after WM34 was not opposed by the college hoops championship so you can't even say it's an apples to apples comparison.

I think this narrative might be misleading as well. The Raw after WM is always the highest rated Raw. Saying this years was also the highest rated of the year means nothing when the ratings have been on a steady downward slope for a longtime.

You do make a valid point with the NCAA championship game but its worth noting that last years WM go home show still did a considerably better number against that game. I believe it went down from 3.2 to 2.9 (too lazy for exact to look up exact numbers) and that's with the benefit of the annual raw after WM bump, an Undertaker appearance and hyping a unification match throughout the show.

That's one perspective.

To me it's a job for these people. I get frustrated at mine all the time. So do most people I know. If you have an option to go to a new employer who gives you a better position, why not take it.

Stings career isn’t over because of Rollins, he only wants to face The Undertaker otherwise he’s done.
Sting retired for the same reason that Paige retired. They have been told that one more bad bump could end their respective careers. Paige could wrestle if she wanted to, but not in WWE because they won't clear her.
