Cabrera may be our most valuable trade chip by far.

The question is.... should we really trade him?

We have nothing behind him in the minors who can come in and play well. The position is a huge hole.

Tonight’s win was a huge sigh of relief.

I know our team is probably going to get swept at some point, I just don’t want the hated Astros to be the ones who do it and especially this early in the season.

You will not likely get much for him. Maybe some lower level prospects. He is more valuable to the team on a fairly cheap contract when we don't have much in the pipeline. I say extend him for another couple and let him be a veteran voice and mentor in the clubhouse. You cant continue to sell off everything in a rebuild, if you want to keep the fans at least somewhat engaged

I am trying to have faith in the process just like it is being preached to the team. Sure looks like a buy in

LeClerc was a beast on the mound. An elite pitcher. Rangers are fortunate to have him. Did not need many pitches either.

AC hung tight on the AB he got the oppo taco. He did have a little trouble with FB so it surprised me he homered. He has a good temperament and has best OPS on team. Seems good in the moment too. Something I liked about Profar. We could do a lot worse at 3B. He fits in well with a young team that is carving out its own identity

If Leclerc is moved it should only be for a haul. He appears to be one of the next great closers in MLB

I wondered when we signed him if he might become a longer term answer here. I just don't know how JD sees the situation. Cabrera might be playing himself out of JD's budget.
